Unlikely, friend. Haterade(tm) is made with all natural ingredients and as such it is very hard- if not impossible- to overdose. Please, continue to enjoy Haterade(tm) responsibly.

We missed the traffic too, thank goodness.
Insider dope: ** spoiler omitted **

We came down 495 and all the traffic was heading to Falmouth and the Sagamore was empty on Friday night. That's my least favorite part of the trip.

We did what any sane Hotlantian would and stayed inside. We watched Suoer 8 (great movie, let down by extremely hokey ending), then had lunch at Benihana, then went book shopping.

Mmm, Benihana and books. Awesome day! Say, what does the family think of your successful writing venture? Is Badger Dad on a pedestal?

Not exactly. Everyone is happy about it and proud of me. No pedestals though. :)

It's OK, because I'm not a fan of them. They're too Doricy.

I dropped a dozen eggs on the driveway this afternoon, and they cooked before I could pick 'em up.

I moved from an efficiency apartment to a one bedroom yesterday. Got phone hooked up yesterday and internet today. Back is hurting something awful. I hate moving!

A bright spot is Kingmaker with Jess and Wolfthulhu and company tomorrow.

I feel for ya. Even with professional movers, we were all shot after packing and unpacking our store. Motrin is the answer.

Howdy folks. Hope my fellow FAWTLYs are having a good day. Mine wasn't too bad, but could have been better. The wife was complaining this morning about not having enough time to herself, so I took the boy and went to the mall.

Stopped for lunch at 5 Guys and while there got a call from Geek Squad that my netbook had been cured of its virus. Huzzah!

At Best Buy, come to find out one of the papers the dude had me sign was saying I didn't want the extra data back up. So, they reset it to factory settings and it works great. But now I lost all the up-to-date files for my Kingmaker Campaign.

Now I have to hope that the guy in my group who actually developed the kingdom spreadsheet we'd been using has been keeping it up to date.

Also took Charlie for a walk in the park - I think he liked it. He didn't know what to make of the geese.

Sounds like a cool day, except for the whole "loss of files" thing, which sucks.

I read it and was ready to write a review, but you've had so many 5-stars pouring in, mine would be redundant.

Please do write one. Wolfgang Baur will let me have my cat back if we get 10 5-star reviews.

Seriously, more positive reviews can only help. So, if you want to, I know Adam, Hugo and I would appreciate it. :)

Not unless writing "I spik 4 teh tris" is offensive.

I rewatched To Kill a Mockingbird last night. I didn't really remember the first time I saw it (in a Lit class, after we had finished the book), but when I watched it this time I was kinda saddened by the acting and the deviations from the plot. It might be because my Lit teacher freshman year was the best I've ever had, but TKAM is one of my favourite books of its genre. Sure, it has (patronisation?) (whites deciding what happens to the black man), but much of that came from the nature of the times. It's such a perfect blend of adult and child themes (sorta like Bridge to Terabithia). The movie was disappointing because I could tell that the rest of my family (who hadn't seen it) thought the kids annoying. My sister read through most of it, only to look up during the climax and resolution. I'm afraid my brother and sister will remember the movie too well when they eventually read the book.

Atticus Finch was played poorly. I get that he's supposed to be stiff, but it felt more like he was a robot when he dealt with the children.

The old woman was almost fully cut, as was Atticus' love interest. My brother ended up questioning the purpose of Dill as a character.

The movie got the rough feel, but it wasn't good enough to recommend the book to the audience.
