If infinite universe theory is correct in some universe I'm batman, and the president at the same time.

This both true and not true.

Hell, somewhere you're Batman, the president, and the Joker at the same time.

From now on you will refer to me as The bateridenter

Agreed. I can plan and all that but at some point you need to put a plan into action else nothing gets done.

When it comes to people I tend to be blab first, think later.

I also speculate I dumped wis.

Its funny I learned playing D&D that over-planning does little to ones benefit. We would plan for something spend hours doing it then the DM would change the circumstances.

My problem is my brain manipulates me with boredom. I feel like I'm always at war with that feeling of ennui.

I don't think I'd care for your GM then. I generally am of the school that he who fails to plan, plans to fail.

Something I just noticed. Does anyone know why Volvo's little symbol looks like the Male symbol?

It is also the alchemy symbol for iron, and the founders wanted to honor Sweden's history of making really good iron and steel.

Oh wow look at you knowing stuff. Cool. thanks for the info. I wonder why they share the same symbol... Does the female symbol have an alchemical meaning?

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Mercury and Potassium are both similar. Mercury looks like the female symbol with horns on top of it, and potassium's symbol is basically the female symbol but with a square rather than a circle.

Here's a table of alchemical symbols.

Google is your friend.

See you could of been all like look at me I am an alchemist they call me the Grand Ray alchemist yada yadda yadda but instead you gave up your secret. Now I'm less impressed.

I like that mercury is a lady with horns.

See, I'm tempted to make a comment about how the horns are fitting because women are evil, but I'm not going to.

Kidlet is in a school play tomorrow, the Fairies Vs The Gobbos. He's a fairy, and knows everyone's lines, not just his own. And that's just fine, as long as he doesn't try and say all the lines, which is a very present danger. :P Candy encouragement may be required for cooperation. :)

Thing about the munchkin is, he's deceptively attentive. Like, he'll be running around, or playing with his dinosaurs, or generally dead to the world, but thirty minutes later he'll be able to repeat everything you said while he was "busy" back to you. I doubt the teacher even realises he's been absorbing them as the other kids practice.

It was hilarious for him to recite the whole play, including who does what and when, until I thought through the potential complications. Hopefully nothing will come of it though. :P

Sounds like someone had better be very careful with what they say around said munchkin.

Indeed. For instance, it would be a terrible shame if someone was to say something like, "Wouldn't it be hilarious if he said everyone's lines for them during the actual play?". He might get ideas into his head or something. >:)

Relatedly:
Once he came back from a week's holidays with my mum (his Nana) and we went out to meet friends for lunch. One of my friends informed him that dinosaurs probably had feathers and his response was "What the f&~+?". Later the same day, something went awry for him and his response was "For f%&%'s sake". Both him and his Nana got in a lot of trouble that day.

lol. You know If the play was pirates of penzance that might of actually worked our for it.

As is usually the case in shows like this, I truly enjoyed the background and setting, and found the side stories to be kinda dumb.

Still, yes, this was indeed very close to the idea posited.
