TL, you're a crab? I'm a crab too?
*Hi-claws*
So yes when I get upset I retreat into my shell, like this.
Like cover turtles.
Indeed!
EDIT: ack! *Re-dons shell*

I'm sure losing weight will help with knee problems, but I dislocated my knee enough times that it complains constantly. And most men would jiggle when they run, if not all...

She sent me and Shiro this video.
So now the big question is, "When can we take 3 weeks off from work so we can rent 2-3 giant RVs, drive to Florida in them, stay in that house for a week, and then drive home?"
NobodysWife: <headdesk>
EDIT: And yes. Considering the house fits 45 people and we just don't have that many friends, in the unlikely event this plan ever comes to fruition we'll invite all the FaWtLers and pick them up along the way. Unless "the way" involves driving an RV across the Atlantic (or Pacific). RVs handle like crap in the ocean.
I'm in!

So I went to the store looking for a used PS4 in between classes today, shenanigans happened, and now I own a brand new Nintendo Switch and Breath of the Wild.
THIS IS AWESOME! Congratulations!
While I'm here, totally not late congratulations to:
- Syrus for a happy birthday!
- TS for a happy birthday!
- Mort for her BF's job-thing! (I think it was that? I'd intended to reply but seem to somehow have missed it.)
- lynora for feeling better! EDIT: and a happy birthday!
- lisa for that mule she keeps feeding girl scout cookies to!
- cy for an apparently nice several days of weather sometimes!
- NH for successfully surviving the flupocalypse!
- anything else I've missed by page 3656!

I love Witches, no complaints here.
And yes, we tend to have a lot of Witches.
Me as well. I love Witches and have never had problems running around them.
My one complaint about them was that by default they're INT-based and not WIS, as I would have loved to have a complete trifecta of casting for all stats for all types of magic. So we just homebrewed it as an option.
Arcane: Wizard (INT), Witch (WIS), Sorcerer (CHA)
Divine-Deific: Archivist (INT), Cleric (WIS), Oracle or Favored Soul (CHA)
Divine-Druidic: [none yet] (INT), Druid (WIS), Shaman (CHA)
Psionic: Psion (INT), Vitalist (WIS), Wilder (CHA)

And if freehold runs, I'll run away.
I wonder what he'd do in political office. Probably declare everyone should walk down the street naked.
I know people say hyperbolic stuff like this all the time, but that probably would be the straw that would get me to consider relocating to a different country.

Here’s a slightly controversial topic. Please keep flames and bad feelings to a minimum.
“Alignment debates are a waste of time and get nowhere.”
My argument for the above statement:
I looked at an alignment debate thread, and realized that everyone has a different idea of what passes for what is an acceptable action for a said alignment. The thread got derailed, lots of people were saying things were done in a way which were badwrongfun and calling each other names.
At the end of the day, everyone has a different style of gaming (and it’s not right to say a particular style of gaming is wrong, either – since it all boils down to personal freedoms) and what people think are appropriate for alignments is a reflection of that.
Your thoughts?

Nope.
I'm still disappointed it was cancelled after three seasons.
Although, back in those days a Hulu Original series making it past two seasons was a big deal.
Still, I miss it.

Er... I don't think you'll get a single disagreement from a FaWtLer on that one.

I don't even have to look at the topic of the thread; that's how ALL alignment threads on these boards end up.
At the end of the day, everyone has a different style of gaming (and it’s not right to say a particular style of gaming is wrong, either – since it all boils down to personal freedoms) and what people think are appropriate for alignments is a reflection of that.
And you're correct again.
Your thoughts?
Er, just general agreement. Did you want to start a philosophical debate on alignment? Because that would be all kinds of fun, but I suspect we'd be buried in flaming bicycles before we could come up with our twelfth self-contradictory example...

You don't need to convince us, I think everyone in this thread has shared this opinion at least once if not many times.
It's a biiiiiiiiiiiig part of the reason I keep a lot of the rules-focused forums closed. So I don't have to see nonsense like those debates.

Nah, I'm not even the philosophical sort at the best of times. I'm more of a if things need to be done, you just get out and do it.
But was just curious to see if there were alternative arguments for that statement to be wrong - one of my players back then did ask why I did not allow alignment debate.
I just flatly said it was a waste of time. Because I'm blunt that way.

There is a reason why Puella Magi Madoka Magica is in my top ten list, but it is also a watch once because it is depressing too. Watch FMA first through at leas the halfway mark before going into FMA:B. They are both well worth watching.

Also I wanted to apologize to FAWTL peeps that often I don't watch the links, because I'm on phone, and my mobile data has limits, and YouTube videos eat a lot of data. Not to mention I'd have to watch without sound since the world mustn't catch me watching.
And most of my time here is spent on phone.

Ooh, I know that pain. I spent most of my early twenties on crutches because of my dislocating kneecaps. Eventually I built up my quads enough to bounce back quickly from that particular dislocation. Now if I can just figure out which muscles to work on to help my dislocating hips... :/

Using the alignment debate would lead no where hypothesis, who then should get the responsibility on policing alignments, in the case of classes that require it - paladins, monks, barbarians.
Or should there be no alignment pre requisites for those classes?
Or there should be no alignment repercussions for player character actions?

Tonight's game did not end up with a TPK. Not even a single PC death. Boo. But on the bright side, I did manage to Blind the Archer and the new Necromancer (brought in to replace the Alchemist), so that's good. And the Cavalier has been retired in favor of an Oracle, which I think is a shame since the player had been having a lot of fun as the Cavalier. But she thought that the party needed a healer (which it did), and since no one else was going to do it, she decided to. So no more gnome charging around on a My Little Pony. Sad.
