I think I got sidetracked from congradulating Kileanna on getting a job. So congradulations!

Mostly my comfort while I hug you.

I'll remove it after-the-fact, if you prefer.

Because it's California in May. According to my thermometer, it's 65 and overcast right now (18 fer you furriners... and honestly it's my eyes that are telling me it's overcast, not the thermometer). By July it'll be in the 50's and foggy all day every day.

The Bay Area is not the most nudist-friendly place in the world...

It's 58 degrees here in San Francisco right now. It's not proper cold until it hits 50.

So says the 4 years I spent in the Rocky Mountains.

A pilgrimage we must found!

To this blessed place we must go!

To bask in the glory of the divine!

Aaaand... that's all she wrote!

The problem with your manager being on vacation is, sometimes you finish your work for the day, and you KNOW your manager would say, "No problem, go home!", but since she's not around to cover for you you're stuck doing nothing for an hour or two.

I'm not the kind of guy who can sit around doing nothing, so it's laundry time!!!!!

(Technically, I have to stay online for the next hour in case our VP has an emergency she needs me to take care of, so I set my alerts to maximum volume (the "gadunk of doom") and then go off and clean the house. As long as I'm available in case of such an emergency, it counts as "work". Whee?)

@Rosita, my cousin is a gourmet and expert on beers and Sapporo is probably his favorite beer. I have to admit I have never tried it even if it's sold on the mart where I usually make my shopping.

@Kjeldorn, so this year pilgrims are coming to my house instead to Santiago? I didn't know I had touristic interest xD

For the first, there's always the internet.

For the second, there's always the store.

For the third... nope, I got nothing. Sorry.

Beware Spanish Ninjas!!!

Yes, we have a TV series about a Spanish ninja. It was actually pretty worth seeing before it became awful.

Sitting and waiting for the kidlet at the jujitsu school.

Today has been...unproductive really. I was gonna go do fun stuff, but it didn't happen. I'm still a little iffy after yesterday's anxiety meltdown, so it's probably for the best. But I'm also kinda frustrated because I wanted to do fun things like attempt to make doughnuts and go to the bookstore.

And I just noticed that my cat wrecked the T-shirt I was wearing earlier when I clipped her nails. Nothing like noticing the giant tear after you're already out in public. >.<

Today I left out so quick to work that I forgot changing my T-shirt. I had been cooking with it on (another reason to cook naked) and it was really dirty because of a food accident I had. Fortunately I have to wear an uniform so I hope not too many people noticed it.

Problems of being called to work with about half an hour of time.

Just arrived Wednesday and Impus Major (of course) had to put on, "No Grave but the Sea for Dogs".

Which is an even better album, because it contains an "explicit lyrics" warning.

Darn those dirty dogs!

(For those who don't know, as a joke, Alestorm put out "No Grave but the Sea" as a two-CD set: One CD is the album, and the other CD is the "for dogs" version where all lyrics have been replaced by dogs barking. So somehow, some of those dog barks contain 'explicit lyrics'. No, I cannot explain.)

You know, the Inquisitor class can actually be a pretty decent pirate or ninja...

Speaking of awesome metal, on seeing that they're coming out with a movie version of it, I'm having Impus Major read up on the Evacuation of Dunkirk. In my opinion, it was the pivotal event of World War II that changed the tide of everything.

Impus Major's immediate response: "So why hasn't Sabaton done a song about it yet?"

I'm hoping the movie does it appropriate epicness, but it would be hard to overdo evacuating over 300,000 troops in fishing trawlers and rowboats to save your country...
...but I guess very few people see, "We ran away really really well " as something worthy of epic story-telling...

It's nice having Grampy over. He's only been here an hour and a half and he's already tutored Pea Bear with math (he's a retired math/science/chemistry teacher for the newbies) and is playing Dragonwood with Tiny T-Rex and Pea Bear.

~does the happy dance~ Baldur's Gate I - EE, Baldur's Gate II - EE, Icewind Dale I - EE, and Planescape Torment - EE are available for Android tablets on the Google Play store. Sadly they are $10 a peace, but still!!! Sadly # 2, the extra content is something you have to buy too. ~sighs~

Edit - Baldur's Gate II - EE takes about 3Gb of room. Just warning you.

Never mind. I had also put it on my new smartphone, but then uninstalled it due to the screen being too small. Well, it also uninstalled it from my tablet too and refunded my money. BUT it is still taking up space on both and now I may have to reformat everything to get that 3 GB back. I think I will stick with the computer version.

Edit # 2 - I did not get back the $2.75 x 3 that I had already sunk into the three "expansions". ~shrugs~ Oh well. I count it as supporting them, but it still sucks.

Sometimes I lose track just for going to sleep.

Today I managed to do a kinda big update to my Campaign Journal. After being into too many things I had put it aside for too much time. I have to be more constant.
