*Gets dressed*

Someone will have to explain what this *gets dressed* thing when we get into a new page is about.

It's kind of a tradition that the first poster on a new FaWtL page is naked, unless stated otherwise. Don't look at me, it's not my rule. Besides, if it wasn't me, it might have been you. So, for the good of the team, I took that hit.

Anyone who posts at the top of the page is considered naked until they note that they've gotten dressed. Some people that will not go unnamed - *cough-captain-yesterday-cough* - have been naked for a very, very long time.

I need to claim a new page. All this clothes are starting to bother me.

I don't know why you keep getting dressed though.

New drinking game for those in the upper Midwest.

Listen to two people talking about their day, and take a drink every time someone says "yah!" Or "oh yah!"

You'll be drunk within five minutes.

In Lugo we are famous for ending questions saying «or» for no reason.
People from other places wonder «or what?».

«Did you have a good day, or?»
«Do you want some coffee, or?»

I might try the drinking game counting the times I hear someone ending a question with «or».

Or do a double shot if you're in Fargo, North Dakota when it happens. :)

"Yah, so we went to the Children's museum this week" "oh yah!" "Yah!" "So didja have fun" "oh yah!" "Yah?" "Yah!"

lol. So true it hurts. I've stopped even trying to curb it when I notice myself doing it. At this point it's too ingrained of a habit. :)

Today is mercifully much cooler. It's barely over 60. That's much better. :)

That feeling when you've accidentally written yourself into a corner and are trying to figure out some way to fix it so you can move on to another scene....

1 person marked this as a favorite.

This is why I hate writing background scenes. At least when there's someone else involved I can riff off of whatever they do or say and get past the stuck point, but when it's just me writing stuff, helllooooo writer's block. :/

Hey hey everyone.

Lyn, feeling better?

*Crosses fingers for TOZ*

*Hears stuff about drinking games - heads straight to the liquor Cabinet*

So any other words triggering a shot?

Yeah, I'm all better now. The evil death flu is all done with and so far the kidlet hasn't come down with it, so that's all good. :)

When we lived in Seattle our friends got a huge kick out of the General's thick accent. But since we've moved back I think my accent is worse. :-)

I guess the only way to find out us to travel and see who gets laughed at more.

Just let me state for the record whom *I* would rather see naked...

Remember, when they ask you to list your best qualities that doesn't mean a ten page essay about your penis (with artist renderings and witness testimonials).

Don't worry, it took me awhile before I figured that out too.

Edit: I can't believe the editor thingy doesn't pick that up.

I could not write that many words about my genitals.

Not if Harrison Ford or the hot Amish chick in the bonnet finally accept my invitation.

Didn't Harrison Ford get stabbed in the kishkes by his floppy-haired Emo son?

I suppose the hot Amish lass is still available, but you'll have to fight Jethro and Seth for her.

I believe in you.

You can do it!

No, that was Mr. Ford's Stunt double. For which his family was suitably compensated.

We observed Japanese Children's Day at my school today. Technically it was two weeks ago, but this was the only Friday the taiko group that is super kid-friendly could make it.
Drumming, awesome lunch, sumo, games and crafts and shaved ice all afternoon.
I didn't lock up until seven because the clean-up took so long.
But it's worth it, because you haven't lived until you've watched chubby little three-year old girls honestly trying to choke the snot out of one another in a sumo match while wearing froufrou party dresses.

So the Kickstarter I mentioned the other day did reach it's goal. Therefore, I shall not be posting any puns tonight. Rejoice or weep as you see fit.
