Endless Space was very fine space strategy. Dungeon Of The Endless was fine, though non-conventional dungeon-crawl/rogue-like. I haven't put my claws on Endless Legends, though it is supposed to be quite good.
Pillars Of Eternity is very good crpg, though it has less replay value than strategy games. It still has some replay value as there are some choices to be made during the game.

I won something, I never win anything! Do you know how many gas station coloring contests I entered into as a kid, how many balloons I tried to shave at the fair. And my god, all those slips entered to win cars at the mall (I did win a trip to Oakland once, but I turned it down because we really needed a car, I just started a new job in Seattle and it was Oakland)
It just goes to show the power of patience, you'll win something, eventually, after forty years.
Appropriately, I won by losing.

Nothing really sparkly. It has also an issue with not being really transparent when it comes to mechanics - i.e. what is really needed to make an efficient character early in the game.

Okay, I was mostly interested in the race aesthetics like are there only a few faces and races to choose from?

Godlike are basically aasimars/tieflings. They are mostly human except for strange heads that prevent them wearing helms but they get some fancy ability and possible minor quest/plot options (at least once fire godlike gets a dialogue option to ignite lamp with touch instead of relying on having torch for example).
Orlans are a halfling/gnome stand-in, though they are different in many ways: they are tribal folks with animalistic traits, both physical and behavioral.
Aumaua are bigger than humans, thick skinned, sea people with somewhat Polynesian vibe.
Each race has two to three cultures associated (four divine aspects for godlike), which can influence appearance (for example wild orlans are covered in fur, while hearth orlans have generally hairless faces), especially for godlike where their aspect practically determines their appearance (e.g. flaming hair for fire-aspected goldike).

Go ooooooooon...
I have never had someone so interested in my campaign setting before.
Hilarious sidebar - autocorrect initially changed this to "I have never had someone so integrated into my campaign setting before". So I'm thinking the special edition hardcover will have a naked succubus innocently kicking her legs while with her chin on her palms while reading the campaign setting book on the cover.

So, four kids currently here. I asked what kind of lunchmeat they all liked. 3 ham, one hard salami. So I get a pound of ham and half pound of hard salami (still a decent amount).
So far zero kids have had the ham. Which is more then cool with me, because now I have all the ham.
You are the hammiest.

if possible, I would crash into your living room on a zip line via a window, somersault over your kids heads, roll into your kitchen, steal your ham, give you a jaunty salute, and then drop a smoke bomb to cover my escape before your children, realizing I am taking the ham, initiate countermeasures.

I plan on spending New Year's Eve watching some upbeat anime while drinking as much Sake as I'm able to tolerate. Take that, 2016, and go F**k Yourself. And never darken my doorstep again!
Don't do that!
2016 may get a final fatality!

I thought I'd looove it; I liked making an elf who could do rapier & dagger, but I found it quite frustrating to play, as everything I ran into after a bit had some sort of killer DR that prevented my wizard pal and I from doing any damage to it. But that probably meant that I was doing it wrong...

Im reminded of my first Neverwinter Nights 2 character. I had absolutely no idea how DnD worked, least of all the bonuses and what not. So I made a Bard.
That dual-wielded greatswords.
I have no f%#*ing clue how I beat that game.

Aaand... we have a wall...
...one down, five+ to go (counting floor and ceiling).
OK, so it took me 3 days to one-handedly bolt to the foundation, insulate, drywall, and reroute wiring in an 18'x8' wall. Not exactly spectacular speed. But it's progress, and considering I'm working on a sprained ankle, pushing 50, and utterly untrained, it came out pretty darned well.
So yeah, the garage isn't going to be finished before the end of the break, but the weather's warming up, I'm getting better at what I'm doing, and pretty soon I get to start using the nail gun to put in shear wall. Whee!

The new twist in the Hatchimal phenomenon, people are waiting to return their s#~!ty ones for... wait for it... new Hatchimals. Yup, they're waiting for our next shipment so they can wait until we open. Again.
I had heard some of them were broken. I can't blame them for wanting something that works.
