It's 85 right now in Puerto Rico.

We're up to twenty currently. :-)

I hope you're enjoying your honeymoon. :-)

now THAT sounds more like it!

I wouldn't even need to be on a honeymoon to enjoy those temperatures...

Of course I'm naked. It's 20 degrees.

Why aren't YOU naked?

If it's 20 I better be skiing or inside by the fire.

Brrrrr...

20 means three layers of clothes.

That sounds... suspicious.

Across the river is a large temple of Sune that was desecrated and converted to the worship of Bane. There is a large fight involving about forty Orcs when either you find all four treasure caches, or you try to leave.

ANYWAY!

So that was attempt number... six? Seven?

Whatever, it was going well, right up until I tried to cast my first sleep spell. Then I couldn't target it right, and aborted and it deleted my sleep spell. THE HECK?!

"Oh, I don't want to do this, I'll do it later."
"SUCKER, YOU LOST THE SPELL FOREVER~!"

That was really sucky.

But it's okay! I had another one!

... except I didn't, because the daggum mage didn't memorize it for some reason!

But it's okay! I had another one!

... and ended up accidentally casting "target" in an attempt to choose where I wanted to target it. And so, cast it upon myself.

But it's okay! I survived the fight!

... only to immediately get caught up in a huge one with no sleep left.

But it's okay! I ran away!

Only to immediately get lost in a maze that I couldn't find my way out of. And into a fight.

But it's okay! I had a cleric!

... and somehow miscast every daggum cure spell on people who were healthy. DAGGUMIT TARGETING!

But it's okay! I won!

... aaaaaaaaaaaand got lost again. And into seven more combats.

But it's okay! I either won or ran away! ... and had only one character with 1 hp left.

But it's okay! I found the exit!

... and ran into four orcs coming into the slums from the city.

...

...

... dang it.

>:I

In AD&D, if you abort a spell, you lose it. Combat takes some getting used to. Select Move, then use the arrow keys to move the cursor. When done, hit the Enter key. Until I find the Strategy guide, get some graph paper to do your mapping. Whenever you clear a building, it's safe to rest in once all the random encounters are done. Stay close to the slum entrance and keep pressing the L key.

Wouldn't do a thing. Hot air rises, after all.
Did you try lighting upside-down fires on top of them?

What do you mean? Installing the machines upside-down, then lighting fires on the bottom? That might work. Wait a minute. Nope. The machines are still junk. Thanks for the idea, though.

You should move to the west coast then, deviations from 60-80 are rare indeed.

It's absolutely boring. :-)

But everything else is fun, especially complaining about the (non existent) weather. :-)

Edit: a lot of misreading led to the creation of this pony.

Edit 2: The Editing Wars: damn you phone! I said POST not PONY.

If the case is metal it would work... a fire on that would turn the insides into an oven.

But you might freak out the customers with a burning machine.

Yeah, they'd probably think that they're possessed or something. Wait, they already do. Maybe if I tossed buckets of warm salt water inside them, they'd work properly. Wait. Are they supposed to spark and smolder like that?

Yes, the next step is to splash them with gasoline.

To make sure they don't come back as zombies.

Christmas tree is improbably still up.

Weather is delightfully cold and it has been snowing all afternoon. :)

Shoulder still hurts, but slightly less. Slow healing is better than no healing.

And now to work on sewing some flannel pajama pants. The actual sewing is easy. The drafting a pattern is maybe not so much as it is a skill I am still mastering. But it's good practice! That's what I keep telling myself...

How busy are you going to be when the Barbie film comes out, Captain?

For that matter, why are they releasing a Barbie film, Captain?

Why?

Probably so Will Arnett can buy another condo.

I assume Will Arnett is most likely in it, or Jason Lee.

On the plus side, i cleaned everything up without myself contributing to the mess.

On the minus side, it's probably going to be a while before i can eat scrambled eggs.

I'm guessing that's something that maternal super powers would've prevented before it happened.
