There are places that have self-checkouts that don't crash or freeze up every 30 seconds, requiring you to ask for an attendant anyway?

Yep. The ones I shop at almost never do.

Hello once again, Fawtl-ites! I have survived the holidays!

I have a cousin who named her baby boy Diamond. Gonna be rough growing up with a stripper name.

Or 1930s mobster...

hilarious story.

One day our I met a girl named champagne. She worked at a flower shop not far from where I live..she was into anime and kpop and stuff and so she was a joy to talk to. I tried to introduce her to my friends but some thing would always go wrong

Later on, my best friend was going over memories of students from his class, remembering a one champagne whom he despaired for, as she was growing up with a stripper name. I knew the chances were low so I asked her next time I saw her and she gave glowing reviews of my friends math class.

Small world.

That's all your grandmother does? I WISH I had it that easy. Mine said if she started a whorehouse, I'd be in it.

No, that's my mom, she's a newspaper reporter, still.

Very little not being on Facebook grief, which is nice, but makes me suspicious of an ambush...

No, seriously, she has a point. You are literally not from our world. And the local goddesses of death and souls probably won't take kindly to you moving in on their turf.

It's not like they made a facebook account for you and spread your personal information all around the net... Do they?

I wouldn't know, I'm not on Facebook.

Facebook is over-rated. The only reason I have one is because.... Ummm... Wait, beside the couple of girls who don't have cell phones, why do I have one?

What kind of monsters would do something like that?

Yay! Evolution, of sorts.

My brothers are drunkenly singing along to Chili Peppers instead of aunts to Beatles... on second thought it would be more of a sideways slide...

I think the funniest thing about this is that you can't see where the link goes unless you're logged in. So despite clearly being intended as a joke toward non-Facebook users, only Facebook users can actually see it.

(I kinda hoped mouse-ing over the link would reveal the clue in the URL.)

Overall, very successful Christmas gathering.

No Facebook ambush, had a grand time, though next time I'm bringing pies, they one's my brother got were... circular, and called pies.

Doom! Gloom! Ice and Snow!

Are all in the forecast for tomorrow, at least according to the news websites.

So how much ice and snow could possibly cause the notoriously drunkenly stoic natives such doom! And gloom!

A tenth of an inch of ice with up to a foot of snow to follow, our area is personally set to get walloped by an astoundingly catastrophic 2.5 inches.

The first snowfall in a month can be so dramatic!

I find a healthy dispersal of Frag Grenades is a great way of maintaining personal space in the wastelands.

Congrats! May your rampaging be filled with luck, Mininukes and gore filled explosions in slow motion.

Am I ready for that?

Ah... I'll think about that...

Of course there is that small issue of Wayfinder submission deadline in the middle of the week...

One (or two) of which should be monsters.

Well I have one monster on drawing board (metaphorically, I don't draw... much).
