Oh, uh, hopefully it would be something extendable and just able to be left "on" instead of having to repeatedly restart it (which kind of kills the mood for intense RP to have the GM fumbling around with either mouse or iDevice to hit the thing). And you get an "A" for "effort" CY... and "A" for "effort"...

EDIT:

NAKED AGAIN! GET ME MY TAILOR, WE MUST HAVE WORDS!

*re-dresses*

EDIT: Oh, and Chrono Trigger's The Trial is really good, but it doesn't quite have the "feel" of "make this diplomacy count or two countries could go to war, and/or one might be shredded by a civil war that kills many innocents" vibe...

Dang it! You ninja'd me! I edited as you were posting...

Despite that, I've actually got that one prepared, just in case...

There's also a trial in NWN2, but I don't remember if it had a specific musical score for it...

Danny Elfman, Music for a Darkened Theater vol. 2. Specifically the Batman Returns songs, Edward Scissorhands selection is also great, but more melancholy.

Um...Spotify? Youtube? I'm at work on phone.

The Soundtrack's Trent Reznor. Some of his better stuff since the 90s ended. All instrumental IIRC.

NIN's Ghosts I-IV has a pretty ominous feel, too. Also all instrumental and very "background music" feel.

I'll be honest, I wasn't really paying attention for what it was for.

Songs from the Phoenix Wright games? I mean, if you're trying for courtroom drama....

Gyakutan (Phoenix Wright) Meets Orchestra. Orchestral covers of Phoenix Wright soundtrack songs.

Thank Scint for reminding me of this, I'd not listened to this in years and had forgotten about it.

Wow I was playing mass effect 3 this morning before work and stumbled upon some amazing content I missed in my first play through. Stuff where you get a nice apartment and some side quests. Cool.

I did not think that it was possible to screw up the wagon scene from Skyrim. I guess I was wrong. Now to find out what mod did that beauty to the wagon scene.

Pea Bear got the part of one of the evil Stepsisters (and a couple other secondary parts). She's so happy she gets to be a villain *sniff* that's our little drama queen!

Did the Dovahkiin get executed? Cuz that would suck.

I should do a Skyrim playthrough sometime, maybe after I finish this ME trilogy playthrough. I'm just not sure what I haven't done yet. Already done mages, companions, thieves, assassins, and vampires lines, plus the Dragonborn DLC, and Imperial, Stormcloak, and neutral.

~laughter~ Nope. I woke up and I was staring at the shovel on the side of the wagon. The OUTSIDE of the wagon. All of the other prisoners were standing up and the horse was not attached to the wagon. Plus we were not moving.

I am sure that I did something wrong last night. I was trying to get as much downloaded before midnight so I used what was left of our monthly data limit. I guess it is time to go back to Gopher's Beginning Guide to Modding Skyrim and actually listen to what he says. I also need to read the mod pages to see what I need to do to their mods.

Edit - I will also be using The Nexus Mods Beginner's Guide to Modding Skyrim too.

NobodysHome's Self-Improvement Journey:

Halfway There
  • Days without alcohol: 185
  • Days of dieting: 63
  • Current weight: 183.2
  • Weight lost so far: 19.6 pounds
  • Weight to go: 18.2 pounds
  • Total days of fasting: 0
  • Best weight since: May, 2009
  • Thoughts and musings:
Well, I've made it halfway without a single "true" fasting day, but it's been close. On the one day I weighed in 0.6 pounds above my planned weight, we were scheduled to go out to breakfast. Since I couldn't exactly sit there and eat nothing at a restaurant, I had breakfast but nothing else that day. The day after that I weighed in right in line with my schedule, so my entire repast for the day was 2 chicken nuggets, 5 garlic-stuffed olives, and approximately 3 spoonfuls of leftover Trader Joe's mac + cheese that Impus Major didn't manage to finish. Not exactly "food of the gods", but it did get me back ahead of schedule. And it's MUCH nicer to have some leeway there. I used to try to accelerate my weight loss by "ratcheting" my schedule -- if I got ahead, I'd re-calculate the schedule. It is way, way, WAY better to stay on the original schedule. That way, if you get ahead, you get to reward yourself by actually eating decently for a couple of days. It's really nice.

NobodysHome dieting tip #1: Don't try to accelerate your schedule. Just set it, stay on it, be done with it.

I honestly expected to be "caught" dieting much sooner than this; in times past, I've been under a great deal of stress, lost 10-15 pounds, and had people say, "I'm worried about you; you're losing weight."
Obviously, "happy" weight loss is less obvious. I've seen people for the first time in months (my brothers, my mother-in-law, my hairdresser/stylist/whatever) and none of them have said anything. I've seen people day-to-day, and still nothing. On the other hand, on December 1 I added a 30-minute-a-day workout to my self-improvement journey. If doing sit-ups and push-ups every day doesn't tone me to the point that someone notices soon, I'll be amazed. I'm personally a little frustrated that all of a sudden I have to tie my pajama bottoms. Otherwise, it's right out of 1940's slapstick: Put my phone in my pocket. My pants fall down. Do jumping jacks. My pants fall down. Post at the top of a new page of FaWtL. My pants fall down...
Last night was the REAL eye-opener. At my worst I barely squeezed into Levis with a 36" waist. Last week I bought two new pairs: One 34" for "in progress" and one 32" for "final reward". Last night I tried 'em both on... and even the 32" was comfortable!

It continues to be much harder to lose the weight than to quit drinking. I was raised by depression-era parents. Throwing out food is tantamount to beating a puppy. Yet it's nearly impossible to cook for 4-6 people without having leftovers, and even more so when ordering food from restaurants. So our refrigerator is constantly full of leftovers, and rather than being the human garbage disposal, I have to let it sit for a week or two (depending on what it is), then throw it out. I was rather proud of the fact that I never had to buy anything for myself for lunch; I could always find leftovers. Unfortunately, it turns out there were FAR more leftovers than I needed, and now I'm finding that I have to adjust my cooking and my ordering accordingly to try to avoid wasting food. The only bright point is Impus Major: He's gone into full-blown "14 year old teenage boy" eating mode, so I can dispose of many of the leftovers in his neverending hunger.

All in all, the diet continues to be very hard work. I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

Except... it works. Spectacularly well. It sucks, but it works. C'est la vie.

And honestly, in spite of all my whining, considering that nobody's noticed the first 20-odd pounds, I'm strongly considering pushing for my "final frontier" of 155. I'll have to see what I think of myself when I hit 165. And notice I say, "When", not, "if". It's no longer a question that I'll make it. It all just depends on when...

I have to admire the effort, especially knowing I couldn't do it myself. If I could get down to somewhere between 180-200 I'd probably be pretty happy with it there and leave off the diet completely at that point.

    Best of luck to you.

Okay, now I'm absolutely positive these words can't be used together in a sentence that way, maybe "I didn't win until I escaped Florida" but not the other way.

You should be able to walk for longer than 20 minutes in T-Shirt in 32 degrees (yes, I know we are speaking about those fancy Fahrenheits) without catching hypothermia. Catching cold or pneumonia is different matter...

I know, just going with an easy number, in hindsight, 30+ minutes is more likely. I didn't get a ton of sleep last night, so I'm not at my best. :-)

My daughter, back in grade school, (she is in HS now) :(
Got the part of the Evil Queen in the Snow White school play. At first she was unhappy, until Dad explained that villains get all the fun. And NEVER get told they are 'over the top' or that 'its too much'. :D
