I managed to get resolution to match my screen... But still meh. I'd like to explore Runes Of Magic world and lore but the game mechanics and quality of game are not appealing to me.

Back to Guild Wars.

Well, my Guild WWars characters are not nearly as... Modestly clothed... As my rogue/druid in Runes Of Magic. Well, her blouse is rather covering but the bottom is... Er... Humble.

I like to be a woman in Fallout 3, get the Chinese stealth armor, put it in third person view and walk slowly, very very slow.

Then I like to go see what my wife is up to.

After 4 weeks of dating, she decided to choose her new job over me. Ouch.

Ouch indeed.

I hope it was at least a fun 4 weeks? :)

Back to fishing Shiny?

(EDIT- I'm trying to be funny, I swear. But everything I type to night is falling flat even to myself. Either not enough or too much wine with my cheese and crackers. I can't decide) :P

Yes, my job has driven me to drink.
It is the one thing I am truly grateful to it for. :)

I'm having a good time with my current Pathfinder character, yet I have the urge kill him off so I can run a playful Gnome called Jiggleitalittleitllopen.

Anyone know some good tablets for someone on a tight budget?

I was suggested to buy a Huion 580, which a friend of mine happens to use.

Characters in a commercial have a tendency to use the entire brand name of a product in an unnatural way that real people never do and it has always broken my suspension of disbelief. I'm not sure why the writers of ads keep doing it.

We're going to lovecraft. The great old ones will devour her for her poor decision.

it seems like every time I attempt to write prose fiction the work inevitably becomes dialogue heavy with terse narrative.

That might be your style then.

Incidentally I feel similar about my sparse writings.

You should totally move to Nashville and write 3 albums about it.

You could always go for the slightly older women, they're sophisticated and know what they want.

Or the slightly younger that are still idealistic and hopeful, however your livers might not be able to handle a second go at being young.

Whatever you decide, f%~~ her it's her loss! She'll live to regret that!!

Now, about that country album, do you need a manager?

Edit: fixed so I don't come across as an a#&@%%$.

You could always go for the slightly older women that are slightly desperate because they chose their jobs over happiness before, however they will be very bossy and micro manage everything.

Dude, seriously? Desperate? Bossy? o_O

Sorry! I was just trying to help David feel better in a snarky comedic way, you're right it wasn't okay at all, I'll work on that, I can do better.

Sophisticated and knows what she wants.

Much better, and doesn't make me sound like a massive d-bag :-)

My apologies.

Looking on my history of dating... I'll say well done! You managed past the first date.

What sounds better? Self-sarcasm or auto-sarcasm?

it seems like in my prose fiction, the art is not in the prose itself at all but in the storyshaping. The prose exists just to tell the story and get the point across effectively.

I prefer visual representation and would be happier writing a comic (which as an artist I have the resources to make) or a film/tv series (which I don't have the resources to make)

I also hope whedon stays crunchy in milk.

I imagine the Whedons would get soggy and bloated from unnecessary plot developments.

So I finished watching everything YouTube currently has available for Terry Pratchett movies/TV specials. Hopefully Netflix also has them, as the second half of Going Postal was region-locked against the US by YouTube, so I couldn't actually finish that one.

Also I think I'm going to try to get the parents to watch Hogfather for Christmas get-together in addition to the usual Muppets Christmas Carol and hopefully IN PLACE of the usual day-long marathons of A Christmas Story that are always on.

Between that and finishing The Shepherd's Crown a couple days ago, I've been in a very melancholy mood this week. It's like... it's all done. That's it. No more.

It's like that normal disconnected feeling you get when you finish a book you've been pouring night after night into, and now it's done, and there's nothing left. No more sequels, no more series, no more extensions. It's over. For now, your time in that world is done.

And you don't want to go.

Yeah, which is kind of annoying since Tennant is my least-favorite Doctor, but I really didn't have any better words.
