I love that the blog yesterday specifically asked people not to start a million separate threads to discuss it, and already this morning I've seen at least five separate threads about the different changes, admittedly I haven't really poked around to see how many :-)

Still funny stuff :-)

Yeah, it was a nice try.

To be fair, a couple of those threads are related to not being able to download the PDFs with the changes.

AHHHHH!!! A naked badger! Is that like a naked mole rat? Are you related to Rufus?

I'm streaming myself storyboarding again if anyone wants to watch and chat c:

Still no clothes Badger?

Haven't you seen The Fantastic Mr. Fox

It's okay for animals to wear clothes now :-)

I'm always naked.

We have both Kim Possible movies:-)

Of course now I want to watch The Fantastic Mr. Fox :-)

Nah, we're in totally different orders. I'm as related to a mole rat as I am a pangolin.

Ugh!

The downside of working part time at a toy store when you have kids is then they rope you into going to work on your days off, if I worked more then two or three days a week it would probably annoy me more, oh well :-)

Yes, I will say I give people credit for being restrained about it, certainly not like the ACG/ARG errata :-)

Also calling Paizo yesterday made me appreciate how small they are and all the s%+$ they do, they do a spectacular job and don't get the credit they deserve

So today begins with mini golf, followed by laser tag. I'll probably win at mini golf again for the simple reason that all of the obstacles are designed with right handed players in mind and playing left handed makes the whole course easier. :)
Be grateful your man has a job... Mine just sits around playing MMOs and watching anime all day. He doesn't even clean very often relying on the pity of me or his family to help him out.

Pretty sure that I can be grateful for the job and still exasperated that they never ever let him have time off, like ever. :)

Sorry to hear that your significant other is not really wanting to participate in life at the moment. Hopefully it is not something that will go on for long.

Kidlet is currently playing laser tag. So glad there are other kids here so I don't have to. :)

Let them wear each other out....I don't know where it went, but I don't have that kind of energy anymore...

Hi! Hi! Hi! Hi! Hi! Hi! The kids drone in perfect harmony the entire 15 minute drive to the toy store.

And I didn't say a word :-)

With Order of the Stick all caught up I don't know whether I want to read Dark Millennium (warhammer 40k guide to the setting) or U1 - Gallery of Evil and continue on my epic pathfinder reading quest

Im telling you, if he hadn't been wearing gloves and a helmet that day some idiot backed into both lanes on a fast road without looking, he wouldn't have skin on his hands. Or a head. Motorcycle gear is designed to keep you alive.

For my bike(bicycle, as Younger Brother Motorcycle INSISTS on using the family shorthand for himself...sigh), I wear a helmet at all times save for that one time I had a strange infection on the back of my head that the helmet was making worse or if I cut my head while shaving and want to likewise avoid infection. I wear a denim jacket when riding, which has saved me at least twice, most recently when I was doored. I rarely wear gloves, if only because I can't find ones I like that fit my just-under-large-but-far-from-medium hands. I am considering knee pads as I am getting older, and walking off injuries has gone from something done without thought to an option that is no longer viable. I may also get forearm guards, but that might really be going overboard.

Any neat monsters in the bestiary section?

I've grown rather fond of Nergal from Mesopotamian mythology. Could very well see him as Chaotic Neutral rather than Chaotic Evil, despite his sinister titles and epithets.

Then again, I have a gripe with most Ancient Mesopotamian myth figures just being Evil in D&D / Pathfinder in general, more so when they were not so in the actual source materials.

Seconded. Pretty much exactly the reason Ireshkigal in my setting is a Lawful Neutral warden-type who operates the cycle of souls, rather than a minor demon lord associated with sphinxes... which really comes from nowhere as there's nowhere in the original Babylonian mythos that seems to point her toward sphinxes or sphinx-like creatures.

Considering how Nergal and Ereshkigal met, I can't help but find the former to be a bit of a carefree type with other deities. He didn't bother with proper etiquette to begin with, and that's what led to them getting together. XD

There are :-)

A giant Heron that stands in one place pretending to be a tree and snatches people as they walk by.

Gambling Devil looks fun, too bad my party doesn't gamble much, still well done, has an ability to make people think they suck then doubles down.

Scrivenite is a scroll, ribbon and book faced outsider from Axis.

Slithering Pit, a fun looking ooze.

There's a couple more giant birds, like a giant crow and something other bird I forgot already :-)

Well, I've reached a major milestone: After *finally* obtaining, assembling, and populating my mini shelf, I decided to "have at" my minis and books. (My birthday was back in June, but this week my work finally had a "down week" so my time was 1/3 new employee mentoring docs, 1/3 researching application security, and 1/3 building shelving for myself).

So I used the lead testing kit I obtained earlier this year, and learned to my dismay that pretty much ALL of my minis from my childhood games were lead. Into a ziploc hazardous waste bag. *sob*. Then I rearranged my gaming shelves and...
...my APs finally take up more than one shelf! Woo hoo!

Anyway, let me know if you want 2-3 pounds of ancient lead figures in bad shape; otherwise off to wherever it is lead goes they go.

(Yeah, I know lead figures aren't THAT much of a risk, but we have multiple kids under 3 over every month, so swallowing IS a risk, and then I have a bunch of teenagers every week and they're going to be messed up enough without any additional exposure to lead, thanks...)

Silver Crusade

Evening all. What did I miss?

Silver Crusade

I love the summer Fridays, where I get out at 2:00.

Except for days like today where I wound up working until 6:30 anyway. Which has been the case more often than not this summer.

He keeps insisting I check this thread out. I thought I'd test my imitation skills here, against his other buddies.

Did I fool any of you?

For a second?

Be honest. :-D

Seriously, though, I am NOT back-logging through all those pages to catch up. That would be insanity.
