Whoo! Let's get drunk and play ping-pong! (Or just be generally merry and play ping-pong. Getting drunk is kinda overrated.)

Well at least he has the conveniently placed rock to hide behind, of course you know his options will become progressively smaller, his only hope being FaWtL is on network television... dignity is overrated anyhow :-)

Today is one of those days. Yesterday was rough due to massive thunderstorms going through our area and I'm still feeling the aftereffects. (Thunderstorms are a big trigger for Menniere's episodes for me.) Basically I had to borrow from today's spoons in order to get through yesterday and now I do not have the energy to do all the things. But I have to do some of the things, like wash the dishes, or we won't be able to eat tonight. Sigh. These days are very frustrating.

~low whistle~ wow. Thank you lynora for linking that story for us. We all have someone in our life that suffers from long term illness. More people need to understand these things.

Nah. That would require going out and spending a small fortune as we would have to get multiple pizzas. My husband refuses to eat gluten free pizza crust, the gluten free pizzas are tiny so we would need one each for me and the kidlet, and we can't just do carryout because I refuse to allow my husband to bring wheat products into the house. Because I should be able to feel safe from allergic reactions in my own house darn it. It's literally so bad that if he left crumbs on the table and I later on touched the crumbs without knowing they were there, I would break out in hives. Heck, he forgot to wash his hands after eating a sandwich a couple weeks ago when we went out to eat, and then took my hand and I ended up with a rash all over my hand. From a few seconds of contact.

So, no pizza. Taco Tuesday will proceed as planned. But not much else will. :/

Shiny linked that one a long time ago, and I've been using it ever since. It is a very useful analogy.

I did it! i did it! i did it!

I passed the waters of cheese... or is it life?.... anyway for whatever reason my save was faulty and kept hanging up at a certain point, so what i ended doing is knocking out the whole thing in one shot, finally nailed it:-)

I need a life i suspect :-p

Also for what its worth Fallout 3 has surpassed GTA: Vice City and Legacy of Kain as my favorite video game:-)

Glad to hear that you made it past the Waters of Cheese. I am also glad that you are enjoying Fakkout 3. Having said that, IMHO Fallout New Vegas is better than Fallout 3 and I really like Fallout 3.

Yes, i will look into this place you call New Vegas:-)

I'm secretly watching Tiny T-Rex of Summer stuff the dog leash behind the couch... at least I don't have to keep beating myself up for constantly misplacing it in odd places this summer... also gonna have a nice little talk with Tiny T-Rex about hiding important things... later.

I've been very lucky with local organized play, and even the regional conventions have been good. Yeah, we've got a couple of people (regionally, not locally) who must tell you how they have the highest DPR, but they're easy to tune out.

Do Operation Anchorage and you get Power Armor training for free. The Winterized Power Armor and the gauss rifle are just icing on the cake. Of course, the Chinese stealth armor rocks due to giving you a free cloaking when you crouch down.

Also saw the first episode of Gravity Falls the other night, a great show, lives up to the hype, is it Kristin Schnall that does the voice of the sister, is there a role that lady can't do:-)

Well that helps explain a few things

1) why the bears suddenly like me

2) why the lion and tiger like me

3) and reinforces that goats are evil a!~~~~!s

The sudden bloodlust of the Flamingos is an interesting development... however the Zoo keepers assured me it has nothing to do with Monsanto and Halliburton sponsoring the new on site genetic engineering facility... or "clinic" as they insist on calling it

I am really disappointed by the vigilante basic idea. I am not fond of masked vigilante trope in the first place. I also feel the class misses the point - such masked vigilantes should be build using normal classes instead, and the dual identity should be a set of feats that improve Disguise skill plus a number of talents, discoveries, and items enhancing it further.

My feelings exactly!

Instead, a new class for Ultimate Intrigue should be a skill master that gets talents that enhances the use of skills beyond the normally available effects. Something like skill unlocks (idea that I liked but the actual implementation hadn't impressed me - the exact unlocks contain a lot of meh, and often the order in which they are granted baffles me) but better.

Had to buy a suit jacket today for a friend's wedding, and I learned something odd: though I'm 6'0" and 185 pounds, I wear a size 44 Short jacket. In other words, while my arms and legs are proportioned normally (to each other), I have the torso of a midget linebacker.

Great now I wanna go to Men's Wearhouse to try on suit jackets just to compare lengths, but I would never buy anything there so I'd rather not waste some poor salesperson's time on it :-)
