Not every girl. ;)

Well, the character I quoted was being ironic. ;)

Also, the idea of a gendered AI is a bit weird, anyway.

Actually, Freehold DM, I GAVE you that copy of Fallout 3 GOTY edition for the X-Box 360. I am playing MY copy right now.

I really need to get to those recaps for my campaign.

All this talk of Fallout....I may have to start playing again...maybe change my focus from sneaky sneaky and use my power armor...

Edit:
Or just start a new save...I remember part of my problem was I seriously messed with my skill set up and advanced the main story to quickly..

I like the Riley's Ranger combat armor myself.

Mmmm. Balsamic-marinated roast pork tenderloin, romaine salad with goat cheese and dried cranberries (lettuce is from the garden), roasted asparagus, and noodles tossed with sautéed spinach (from a friend's garden).

It's been a while since I've gone all out in the kitchen.

Working on voices from Bob's Burgers, so far I can nail Edith and Harold, the old couple, Jimmy Pesto and Zeke, also Mr. Fishoeder, man that show is awesome :-)

I can't... I... I'm playing Naruto, I have to beat it and return it to gamefly...

sunlight falls on game case

No.... I can't... I have things to do, games to beat!

case rattles

This... This isn't a good time, I have to get something to eat.

rattle rattle

No. I can't eat fried giant roaches! I'm not *that* Brooklyn!

rattle rattle rattle

What? The sequel is in BOSTON? I can't have that!

rattle rattle

Be evil in the sequel? Yes...We can do that...

rattle

I know... We have to be good in the first game in order to balance our karmic load.

case flips open

Okay... Okay... Just a few minutes... No more, no less. We can do a few minutes.

Oh look, the 360 is already on. When did we do that?

Fresh batteries in the controller? But we didn't even go to the store today...

The case...is empty. It's already in the system... How...?

It's not important. We have a world to save.

Except for Boston. Or Philly. Okay, maybe Philly. But no Boston.

DIE YOU FREAKIN CLONES! I AM THE ONE TRUE GARY!

Aaand back.

Hour and a half of chocking because of drying throat but it's done. Dentist decided that endodontic therapy isn't required, the pulp isn't infected and a regular filling will suffice. I was lambasted for poor teeth hygiene (the dentist was different than the previous time, and she was much more harsh in her criticism). Anyway I paid a fifth of what I think I'll pay and had a good laugh out of "you are still young so you should take care of your teeth". I understand if it was said by one of those older female dentist close to her retirement instead of young (quite possibly younger than me) woman.

Does this black T-shirt makes me look younger?

Hey, black don't crack.

Actually it might have been the simple fact that I have no sign of eights in my jaw.

Huh. It seems that the next two races I'll put on my blog will be Small. I tend to write a lot of Small races... I should probably start thinking on a Medium sized one for a change.

Unless I would redesign xenopi as Medium-sized?

Hmmm... While they might have the required height length I don't think that they would have enough bulk...

I went to nap not long after the last post and woke up past the opening period of the evening shop. Ah, well. I don't actually need anything. I can eat a ciabatta with the remaining shredded cheese for dinner. I gorged on pierogi with minced meat earlier.

I don't think that matters. The thread just keeps growing. We're going to need some serious FAWTL level physics to determine the DC for an answered, but still growing thread.

No. I am so not going to check what was said in the last 69 posts...

Historical accuracy fallacy seems to be growing too. I told what I had to tell, got more non sequitur responses than we usually have, including on FAWTL where the posts at least don't try to pretend to have continuity when they don't.

I got careless yesterday in the morning and sliced my index finger open.

Let's just say that I'm going to make sure I am properly awake next time I try slicing bread.

I came darn near chopping off (okay, cut into with a fairly blunt-edged knife) a finger on my right hand trying to separate two slices of frozen toast - 1 hour before the one university exam my depression didn't completely sabotage my prestudies for.

Since it turned out that neither me, nor any of my flatmates had any plasters, I had to walk over to the neighbour, ask him for some, then walk over to do the exam (I got the top grade!), and then get myself to the ER - who told me I didn't need any stitches. Which was good, as the painkiller shots hurts more than the sewing needle in my experience.

My best "knife tale" is one NobodysWife hates for me to tell. So I will sneak it in, since I know she doesn't read FawTL:

We were at her paternal grandparents' for Thanksgiving, way off in Emmett, Idaho just outside of Boise. She was in charge of Thansgiving dinner, and started trying to cut an extremely-stale chunk of French bread with an extremely-dull knife. (Her grandparents certainly did not invest any points in Profession: Cooking, to put it politely.) So, dull knife, hard crust, and the knife skitted off the bread and into her finger, proving it was just sharp enough to cut almost to the bone.

Off to the ER went NobodysWife and her father, so I took over cooking.

A man?!?!?!? Taking over Thanksgiving dinner!?!??!

You would have thought the world was coming to an end.

To this day I remember the wide-eyed astonishment from the grandparents that I would dare to try to use the kitchen, much less that dinner came out just fine.

A true reminder how little-removed we are from, "A woman's place is in the kitchen. A man's is out of it."

Good afternoon FaWtLy folk! I hope everyone is well and having a good day. :) I pray your weekends treated ye right and you all have a wonderful week ahead. The sun is splitting the rocks here, a scorching 20 degrees (68 F). :P

Well, my week is ruined.

It's Impus Major's last week of school, so he needed $40 to try to buy a yearbook (don't get me started on him carrying around the check for the 2-week order period in December, forgetting to turn it in, and then having the school say, "Sorry. Ordering period is over. You don't get one." In DECEMBER!)
He also needed $20 to repay his friend for buying him lunch.

Kids are infamous for losing cash, so I wanted to make a point about using a wallet instead of carrying loose cash. I put the $60 in his wallet, dutifully carried it to him, dangling from its chain, and, right in front of NobodysWife said,
"Impus Major, always remember: Never carry cash without a walnut."

Yes. My loving wife lost it entirely. Impus Major immediately turned it into a catchy tune.

My week is over.

Well, now you should get Impus Major a walnut-colored wallet...

Fracking arrogant Outcasts SOBs. "Why don't we ice her and take what we want?" Just step out of line once and you will get taken down like the rabid dogs you are, power armor or no power armor. You and the Brotherhood come into my land and take what you want? Bloody thieves! At least this group of the Brotherhood care enough to help some, even if they are arrogant as all get out. I am a VAULT dweller and probably better educated than you are. GRRRR!!! ~checks to make sure that my armor and guns are repaired and I have enough ammo and stim packs~ Oh yes. Listen to the radio and hear a recording about the Outcasts needing some help. I think I might go Outcast hunting after this.

I believe when a male of the species carries it, it is referred to as a "murse".

For example: Murse, manny pack, moobs, etc.

EDIT: And I will now be cursed forever, either by Chris or Liz for having to delete my post, or by the FawTL folk in general for THAT mental image...
