is jederfsvzl German for fawtl?

Forums sind Ver... uh, not sure, zu Lange.

jeder - every.

EDIT: and in German it is FsVzL - nouns are always capitalized.

jederFsVzL would be my usual everyFaWtL greeting

Foren sind viel zu lang = FsVzL

what would it be in Polish ? Swedish ?

Gaelic ( Lord S. do you speak gaelic ?)

My Gaelic isn't the best, not much of a polyglot, but I think this would be a solid approximation.

Fóraim go bhfuil an-ró-fada (F[G]BARF)
Gach would be every, so gachFgBarF.

The "go" could be seen as surplus to requirements, but I think it's better Irish with it.

If you run it through a translator, I've replaced way with very, because Irish does not have a translation for way meaning that.

and 2 days training with co-workers in Wales, at Toyota. I am very exited, Toyota is the gold standard if you work in Lean / Kaizen / TPM like I do

Well, had this been fifteen years ago, I could have contributed some Lithuanian and a bit of Russian, maybe actually understood the Polish and German. Perhaps thrown in a French word or two.

Now: Uh, hablo un poquito Espan~ol. Comprendo menos.

My name is about all the Spanish I still know. And it's grammatically incorrect.

Silver Crusade

Looks like Hollywood is rebooting" Vacation" is nothing safe.

Silver Crusade

Morning, all. What did I miss?

Ugh... The last level of Far Cry 1 is killerific... And I don't mean there is lots of enemies to kill. It's like kill the main character fest.

I managed to go past first two fights. I finally discovered what is the secret of dealing with third fight (have a MG, it's absolutely necessary to take off the three big ones poping up from the sides) but fell into lava when keeping a distance from two more big ones coming out of door on the other side of the vale.

A sequel to National Lampoon's Vacation.

Is that a sequel or a reboot? Those are two different things. I remember the awful European vacation movie (damn those kids got UGLY!) and the recent Christmas (?) vacation movie which was also not so hot.

From what. I read it looks like it will center on Rusty taking his kids to wally world

Do they have a cast? The actors are what will make or break it:-)

then it's not a reboot. I am all for the story continuing.

It looks like Chevy Chase even has a cameo as Rusty's dad.

I don't know; I am cautiously optimistic. I mean, it could suck, but if it does it won't be just because it is a Vacation sequel.

I'm doing better about not eating junk food yesterday and today. But those baked goods are staring at me again. French pastries are my kryptonite.

*takes deep breath*

I can do this...

It certainly would not hurt to bring Christie Brinkley back.

I went to get my blood sugar measured.

The result was 5.4 which is not bad, but higher than I had hoped.

Try getting some Portuguese ones instead. Unless you're absolutely mad for sugar you won't last more than one bite.

Aaaannndd FINISHED.

Far Cry 1 complete... Very fine game. Better than the second one, actually. While the engine and gameplay in Far Cry 2 are fine, the plot presentation is much worse, and the game quickly becomes very repetitive: open world was nice idea, but the missions are constantly repeated in the same zones without introducing new elements.

To keep my FPP shooters fix I am installing Crysis now... Maybe I will finish it this time.

Ugh. I don't think it's installing properly... Crap.

Or is it?

The progress bar is moving. Or more accurately growing when I am not looking... But so slow. It's mere 6 GBs...

Ok, reached the point of installing DirectX... Will it go through correctly?

Installation finished, trying to run...

I really hate fps. Truly. I'm having a hard time getting into bioshock as a result. I don't know what it is about borderlands, but I'm enjoying it.

Riddle of the day

How many posts does it take to determine the DC to jump across a 10' pit?

Spoiler:
somewhere in the neighborhood of 700

1,962... just to reach a consensus that it is in fact a pit and not some illusion :-)
