The funny part is, I decided earlier this week I was going to make it this weekend, since we had bananas starting to brown.

This morning, though, I went into the kitchen and John had left the bananas next to a cookbook open to a banana bread recipe right where I would see it. I think he was trying to tell me something. Apparently we were in agreement about what needed to be done.

Movie just ended. SO AWESOME. SO VERY AWESOME.

Schedule conflicts caused by other players wanting to see it and really deserving and needing a movie day cancelled kingmaker sadly, but again, so worth it.

I can't wait to see it. It may be a little while though.

Going to see it in the morning, before heading to the local game day. I love running You Only Die Twice.

Top of the page is not the right place to speak about you, John, and bananas...

I am back from session.

We are going to go on a five year mission where no man turned into gnome hadn't gone before!

There was some banana juice drink on the session...

Since KM was cancelled, I also saw Age of Ultron. It's not a good sign when the prevailing thought in my mind through the entire thing is

Spoiler:
My Kingmaker oracle must never under any circumstances meet Tony Stark.

It was a great way to spend the afternoon. Loads of fun.

Puffin and I were disappointed in A: AoU, so if you feel the same, don't be afraid to say so. :P

I can't understand why, but you're apparently not the only ones, according to the big thread. To each their own I suppose.

Oh, I wasn't disappointed. I expected a fun action movie. I got a fun action movie.

^ that ^

I got exactly what I wanted from the movie and then some, and had a blast doing it. Money well spent, I say.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Same here. It was a fun action movie. Not the best Marvel studios movie, but it helped set the stage for upcoming movies.

I'm sure I won't be disappointed. They could just have Chris Evans stand motionless in front of a camera and I'd still pay to see it.

Really bad knock knock joke I came up with on the spot when Tiny T-Rex got surly on a long car ride, he loves it :-)

Did.... Did my terrible jokes crash Paizo?

Sorry!

I'd say I won't do it again, but we all know that would be a lie :-)

if the site would have crashed with every terrible joke in FaWtL, Paizo would be out of buisness for years now

I suspect the combination of Redneck jokes and Doctor Who jokes might've had a crossing the streams type effect :-)

Hi Tordek,

how are you?
How is the buisness going?

i'm doing well. The consulting business was short lived as I accepted a full time position with my first client about three months ago. Sales are a little weak at the moment but the future is looking better.

I see from fb that Sabine and the little one are doing well.

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaate server goblins right now.

Made a huge post. Backed it up. Submitted. Goblins ate it. No problem, though, right? Right. Waited until the site was back up, earlier. Cut/pasted the post. Previewed. It worked! Submitted. Looked like it went through! Switched tabs and copy/pasted a link before I forgot it. TURNS OUT GOBLINS ATE THE DAGGUM POST (apparently immediately after I switched tabs/it looked like it went through). >:(

ARGLBLABLABLAGAGLAGLAGEL.

*breathes a deep sigh*

Though it was a few hours ago, I'm still really disappointed. It's an hour or two I'm not getting back that I specifically put things on hold with my family to make. I feel guilty that I did so: not because it was major thing - we all put family stuff on temporary hold to do stuff all the time - but because I did all of that for nothing. NOTHING.

Ah, well. Leaving it for now, contemplating whether or not to ever write the thing again.

Instead of getting drunk tonight, I'm going to stay up until 6 AM listening to Hidden Hospitals and pricing a giant box of Ghost Rider and Archie comics that my buddy bought at auction.

Add me to the list of FaWtLs who watched the Avengers this weekend. I enjoyed it.

I'm going to try to go see Avengers on Thursday, but who knows if I'll actually go.
