Yes!
in Wisconsin now you can get Free! Mini-shots of Liquor, at the grocery store even!
because everyone knows, when you as a state have a huge drinking and drunk driving problem the best way to remedy it is to make it easier:-p

on the plus side, since i mostly walk* to the grocery store, shopping trips just got way more interesting:-p

* i have a car, it works great, i just prefer walking when i can

Free liquor explains the nudity.

Me: I got a 21

DM: Everyone who made your dc 23 will save. you are sickened and for two rounds for those of you that failed you take 140.

So what happened to the rest of your gear?

Other PC (after Tin Foil Yamakah is resurrected): Yeah, i dunno it must've been caught in the blast

TFY: It was a Wand, some fire resistant boots, a couple Rings and a Staff

PC: Yeah i dunno, didn't see it

TFY: Umm, you're wearing one of the Rings right now and my staff is poking out of your Back Pack!

PC: Oh those, i got those at Ipeq while you were Dead

TFY: I was dead five minutes!

PC: You sure bout that? seemed a lot longer.

Got my power bill today. About double what it normally is.

But was comfy and warm throughout January. Worth it.

Not looking forward to the electric bills this summer. I already see the rise over the past couple months.

Since I'm usually comfortable with just running the fans during the summer rather than needing actual cooling except during the very hottest months, my summer bills are always significantly lower than my winter ones.

If I tried that here in Phoenix my house would catch fire.

Oh yeah I bet. We pretty much had the AC on at least low all the time when I lived in Tempe, and fans on on top of it.

Three-glass windows and plenty of insulation does wonders for your electrical bill in winter.

I expect the power bills this year to be higher than last year too.

Nothing to do with the fact that no electricity was used while I was away for eight months out of twelve last year. Nope.

Well, being in an apartment, that's not something I can mess with =)

My favorite line from Bob's Burgers this weekend

Daryl (voiced by Aziz Ansari): Sorry can't help you, all my free time is going into Robotics. I'm building a companion robot for my Uncle, it gives him Pills, plays Jazz.

Jealous. I have single pane windows from the fifties. And too big to do the old cover the windows with what amounts to very large saran wrap too since the windows go all the way down to the floor. We have to keep the curtains closed all winter to at least block a little of the draft. Not a lot I can do about it since we live in an apartment. It has charm. Translation: it's old and many of the 'vintage' elements are actually quite uncomfortable to live with. But it also has space and a great location. *shrug* You can't have everything.

Well, Louis already spilled this on his facebook feed so I think I can safely reveal what I was writing since the last week: a series of haunts, primarily with Obsidian Apocalypse in mind, but I am pretty sure that they can be easily used in horror, Ravenloft, or Ustalav.

Why is it that every time I sit down to write my brain interprets this as time for a nap? It makes it very hard to get things done. :/

Overly comfy chair?

Well, it is a comfy chair, but I have the same thing happen if I sit at the table or on another chair or on my bed or on the floor....apparently I need to try standing and typing. Sitting isn't working out.

Closely followed by Stephen Colbert being put in charge of D&D over at Wizards.

The game is on.

It would be pretty disappointing if he'll just gush about having bought a speed boat or something.

Lisa and Vic were cast for parts in one (or more) of the Star Wars sequels?

And where that announcement is supposed to be?

Wait, that's not true - he ended it with a :p

I returned to one of the webcomic strips I followed in the past before I started using chrome with its synchronization. If I only could remember other forgotten comics that I lost when my laptop died...

Also, why in a year and a half there were so little new strips added. Not enough for a proper archive binge.

Reading comics about college life...

Why hadn't my life had such kind of childish drama? Oh, well. There was a lot of it around. It's just that when you are in the center of the universe you are afraid of moving because the slightest of your actions can disrupt the pattern of things... We wouldn't want that, would we?

Heart of the universe is beyond its edge
The watcher is the creator
Touching is destroying
Change is time

Getting philosophical sentimental at the 3 AM. Incidentally I haven't stayed so late for a long-long time.

I should go to bed probably.

But the show must go on!

Creation is born of imperfection

Post-archive binge depression. It is probably the same state as post-book reading depression.

Man, I don't get like that until after a 12-pack of Bud Lite and half a pint of Maker's Mark. What were you reading, "King-Cat Comix"?

Don't judge me!

And edges of my brain are trying to recall tons of comics lost to the laptop failure.

*sigh* Now from trying to recall forgotten comics my brain decided to torment me with awareness how many songs I'd like to find on you tube while not remembering anything that would let me identify and find them...
