I apologize for my silence. I had a very bad reaction to meds that hospitalized me for a day, and adjusting to the new ones has taken more time than expected. They've had to adjust the dosage a few times.

I for one am glad to have you back. Please take care of yourself.

I have no idea what this means.

However, I must see this performed on stage.

CH is in charge of casting and score, Rags handles costumes.

I'm thinking a really meditative Phillip Glass-style score would accentuate the ridiculousness in a way that would make people want to find hidden meanings and s$+!.

Off to Game Of Thrones (the board game) evening. Will get a ride back home so it might extend well into the night.

I was alone in the morning, used the time to watch Amon Amarth and Heaven Shall Burn from Wackeb while ironing a mountain of laundry

Very few things can make ironing tolerable, but I imagine that would be one of them.

Aeglos, I hope you had massive fun.

Okay, we had an extra long Kingmaker session today, and it was awesome!

Too bad the allergies (and the resulting asthma) have exhausted me, so I'll go about the summary later on.

Show up to GM, end up playing. Not a bad resolution, since I wasn't really feeling like running today.

I just finished a "fun" conversation explaining to someone why dressing like a historically-accurate Ancient Egyptian common woman for a history class being taught to gradeschoolers would get her arrested for indecent exposure and put on the Sex Offenders Registry.

She didn't believe me at first until I pulled up the scholarly articles and actual depictions from the walls of Egyptian ruins. Then she realized how insanely overdressed Ancient Egyptian women are in most American media.

She's decided to go with the Hollywood version instead.

How the hell did reruns of "Saved by the Bell" get rated E/I for "educational/informative"?

changed the format halfway through the series to make it fun, originally it was very preachy and more-you-know-ish.

Finished third play-through of Skyrim. Moving on to Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Speaking of Dragon Age... I'm about to start my first playthrough of Origins, but I'm paralyzed with indecision. Human fighter, human rogue, or human mage?

Rolled for it, and ended up going with mage. Let's see how this goes.

Exam week... Bleh.

When I was leaving work this morning something caught my eye. The car dealership next door was receiving a delivery. That's not too unusual, but since the cargo consisted of 11 (presumably) brand-new Corvettes, I had to stop for a moment and look. I would never want a Corvette (well, maybe a classic one if I had a s&!!-ton of money), but they sure are pretty to look at.

How shall I celebrate this feat of strength of will, I wonder..?

Strong fondness for the early SAAB 900 Turbo models (and the 9000 models too, but those are because I helped build some of them when I did work experience in 8th grade).

I remember, when I was younger, driving past a SAAB dealer on occasion. The cars looked sharp, but I don't know what models they were.
