That's all well and good, but I don't see how any of this is helpin' my campaign.

Isn't the campaign season already over, Hiram?

Next year!

You do realize that the City Council will not be holding elections anytime in the near future, correct? Not only would it be illogical, having only just elected our new mayor, by which I of course mean voted meaninglessly in the futility of our lives while the Council in their vague semi-omniscience selected the most fitting candidate - or non-candidate, as the case may be - but it would also be illegal.

Nah, it's cool. I'm legalizing everything.

Hmmm...anyone want to stat up a were-house? You know, a house that only appears during a full moon? Could even be a were-warehouse. And if it bites another house, the second one becomes a were-house as well.

Somewhere, a drunken Laurell K Hamilton gets an idea for a new Anita Blake trilogy...

Time to sleep. Nighty everyone.

Gnight man

Low 60s, sunny, slightly breezy. Enjoying it while it lasts.

Afternoon, all. What did I miss?

Huh. Now I've got this stupid moneybag thing. Is that the new Qadira sign? I gotta lose that garbage.

I guess. The crossed scimitars is gone now. Though the new Andoran symbol is now a pair of crossed blades instead of an eagle. And there's an eagle/firebird instead of the Taldor crown.

On the other hand the Cheliax cross became a cool book/flame thing.

My Silver Crusade icon has changed. It's similar, but definitely a new design.

*ponders applying for the job as manager at Leeds United* At the rate this chairman is sacking people, eventually he will get that far down the list!

Current news in Sweden: Amber fever in Skåne.

It's like gold fever, except... You know... with amber instead.

Did they actually appoint the 'second-team' coach yet? Since of course some of the fans think he's amazing (they have only won games under him this season, not the other managers (iirc)).

Anyway last nights D&D game had some brilliant background revelations about how the universe works, history of Daemons & stuff. Of course we messed about for hours doing nothing beforehand, since we'd finished the dungeon, but didn't realise it - so we spent literally 3+ hours trying to look for secret doors or use a magic mirror.

There was an elephant in the room, since the new guy didn't show up & no one asked the GM if he'd actually informed anyone.

Bubblegum Crisis - Meh. Interesting setting, but that's about all I can give it.

...

I thought we were friends....

More spake, if you like planetes, it explains much-you may not like 80s-90s cyberpunk-y stuff. May I suggest they were 11, lily cat, the newer version of harlock, and the (very long) legend of galactic heroes?

Added to the list, thank ye kindly. :)

I think he's still in charge, but I haven't been to any sports-site for ten minutes, so it's anyone's guess.

God morgon.

Sameish here, but less windy. Thanks for shielding us from most of that by the way. ;)

Possibly most common line in Swedish weather reports: "And a low pressure front sweeps in from the Atlantic, but it will weaken as it passes the British Isles."

No problem, but, you know, it's been a few millennia now, you mind if we switch positions for a while? The wind is really biting.

Just above freezing at the moment but will be a lovely 70 (21 C) this afternoon. Just in time for lunch break.

Unfortunately looks like it's going to rain tomorrow and the day after, which puts a quick kill on my plans for getting into a habit of going walking on my lunch breaks. Thankfully that'll clear up by the end of the week.

We'd be happy to, but the Finns have only been independent for a century or so, so they're still a little nervous about being left on their own.

Last I heard, the Finns know a thing or two about drinking. We'd be happy to keep them company. :D

yesterday was a very special day in Germany: 25th anniverery of the opening of the Berlin wall after the peaceful revolution startd withthe monday demonstrations in Leipzig.

Without the brave men and women there, my wife and I would be sitting on opposite sides of the iron curtain right now

co-incidently Nov.9th is also the day the persecution of the German jews by the Nazis had started, usually both things are remembered equally on that day but yesterday, once in 25 years we allowed us to just celebrate the positive for once

remembering the bad is just as important as remembering the good. And voice versa.

Planned to go for a bike ride after school before it got too dark.

Stepped outside into 30 MPH winds and nearly fell over.

I'm sitting inside and eating potato chips.

I think that playing beorning in LOTRO might finally push me to make a working shapeshifter base class...

Of course I should focus solely on writing completely different thing at the moment...

That involves deadlines and such.

Songs in the key of X is music inspired by the X-Files, it also has the long form version of the theme song, which I can loop:)

Mornin' FaWtLies. Hope everyone is doing well today, and yer mornings are treating ye well. Another dull day on the Emerald Isles, but at least it's dry today.

Morning on this beautiful Independence Day!

Of course I forgot it's coming so I didn't go to shop yesterday. I still have apples, onions, potatoes, and meat for the dinner but no bread for the breakfast.

Not the first time, not the last time. *shrug*

good morning:)
tis a humid 33 degrees with a healthy dose of sleet/rain/snow (it really changes minute to minute) winter still has that fresh newness about it, so its kind of fun, should see some wild turkeys walking to school:)

Dad's birthday today. Turns 81. Will call him from mom's house later.

Thank you to all of our veterans today!

I got Korean barbecue with a gaming buddy on Saturday. I have been eating the leftovers nearly every meal since then. It's almost gone. Almost.
