At GenCon two years ago, my daughter and I took our 1st-level sorcerer and druid to the special, which is one of the years where they scored the table. We were worried that we might get some hyper competitive players, but that worry was alleviated when the other four players showed up with bards.

LAWL. How'd it turn out?

Ran my first Mystralas campaign yesterday, and it went well!

The campaign got a rather odd nickname from the player group though.

CONGRATULATIONS

We had a really good time. We didn't even end up in last place, since we aced the social encounters. My druid had the lowest Cha at 14.

I think my team came in second, also thanks to two bards at our table. Good times. :)

"Why do we have three Clerics?", which later got changed to "Three Clerics". It's the nickname they gave the campaign, not the setting.
Three Clerics sounds like an awesome party.

By any chance, the clerics aren't named Lucky Day, Dusty Bottoms, and Ned Nederlander, are they?

hi everyone

today Oktoberfest!
well, not the real one in Munich, a local one with a fest-tent on the parking lot of a furniture store

there should be pics of us in Dinrdl and Lederhose on Facebook soon

One day, when we are old, we will enjoy the TRUE OKTOBERFEST.

I hope the wife is okay with any..ah..exhuberant celebrations that may occur as a result of drunkenness...

Back from session... No one died, no one sold his soul to the powerful devil we meet. However, to break free of magically sealed island we ended on, we had to make a pact with the devil... We agreed to kill two beings of his choice - devils, demons, or aberration, as well as one undead, in ten years. Promised to be within our capabilities at the moment when the time comes.

One of the party fighters made two pacts on side as a result of one won and one lost game of blackjack - he is bound to kill an aberration of the devil's choice in ten years, and he received +1 inherent bonus to Constitution... The catch was that he already read tome of constitution in the past granting +1 inherent bonus to Constitution. Inherent bonus does not stack. *sigh*

First off, three Clerics were discussing party dynamics while a bard shook his moneymaker. Then, the dreaded Dradger (a Dragon-Badger hybrid) unleashed a horde of never-before-seen monsters upon an unsuspecting populace. Meanwhile, across town, a manly black dwarf in a traditional Germanic dress celebrated Septemberfiesta by making pictures of himself and pasting them into a book made of faces. All the while, the demon-possessed, time-travelling, homicidal gerbil armed only with a ukulele tracked down the Tooth Fairy with strange intentions...

No, wait!! That was my acid trip!

In other news, some a*&$*~@ tried to provide a recap similar to the ones previously provided by an undead citizen of FaWtLand and failed miserably.

I'll say. I didn't even rate a passing mention.

Wait a minute. Even NOT mentioning TOZ is enough to summon him to a thread?

The monster a former Paizo developer dared me to publish!

I might expand kulit a bit with a new blogpost containing racial feats, racial class abilities (rogue talents, possibly alchemical discoveries, maybe rage powers and hexes...) and an archetype or two.

Note to self: never again wear new unbroken-in shoes to work. I am hobbling. It doesn't help that I usually walk 3-4 miles per day.

Well, as long as it's not Kathy Bates doing the hobbling...

I think they are break-in-able - I just have to let the blisters heal and then wear them for short intervals.

For now, I am reveling in the sensation of bare feet.

It will be available later, October, I think...

Unless WotC releases pdfs of the three core rulebooks (or someone sends me hardcopies, or I find cheap ones on sale) I won't be bothering with Next.

I updated my windows 8 to windows 8.1.

No particular reason.

Now... Will LOTRO work after update?

Everything seems to work fine.

Back to reading the newest Witcher.

Witcher: Season Of Storms finished. Decent piece of witcher novel with a few really great/surprising moments.

Also, great dwarf character, again.
