Checked out the first episode of Bubblegum Crisis as well. The plot holes left something to be desired, but it's got me enough that I'll keep watching for the moment.
Planetes, Outlaw Star and the original Gundam are all next in the queue.
keep on mind that BGC is OLD- you were expected to have read the manga in those days, so those aren't plot holes as much as they are just gaps in what could be animated at the time. The episodes were made many many months if not a calendar year apart.

I watched all of RWBY over the weekend. It has the nice dual properties of there not being too many episodes yet and the episodes being short (the lack of these properties has put me off starting certain series that have been recommended to me before, just because of the time investment involved). I also watched all of RWBY again. And each of the character trailers about a half dozen times each. And bought the soundtrack.
*suppressing enthusiasm*
It's pretty good, I guess.
if you are that into it, then I really need to give this a watch.

This is still on my to-do list. Maybe this weekend if I don't have to work.

I can get pretty enthused about silly things some times, so do take it with a pinch of salt, but I really did enjoy it. The combats and soundtrack, in particular, impressed me greatly.

Roger Dodger. The animation speaks to its age, and I'm giving it credit on that basis. I may have to look up the manga at some point too then. Depends on if the gaps really start to bother me.

@ Drejk - Would you recommend LOTRO? Not that I really need to add more things to my to do list, but you do seem to enjoy it and that has captured my interest.
Well, it is classic theme park MMORPG with MMO part that can be mostly ignored (well, maybe except occasionally bumping into other players killing the same things) - no PvP whatsoever (except the special area where subscribers can fight against monster played by other players), besides some non-obligatory quests there is no need for groups anymore - all the epic line quests are solo-able now.
Community is quite nice and quite helpful.
Negative part is lots of grinding for deeds (achievements) - but they grant actual benefits, small but slowly stacking, and is really optional but you won't get far as a free to play player without grinding. By grinding you can earn Turbine Points that are used in in-game shop to unlock important (new regions, trait slots, remove cap on amount of gold that you can have) and unimportant (various buffs, cosmetic thingies) things. I play for a five years (with two or three major pauses due to computer malfunctions) without spending a dime. I intend to get myself one month subscription to gain benefits of being premium player (i.e. someone who spend some money on the game) when <censored> will be finally released and I get paid for it.
The time I invested already is helping keep me in game, I already unlocked most of the regions except the latest expansion. Which is on sale until Thursday but I am pretty sure I won't manage to grind enough TPs to buy it in time and the next sale will be probably after another half of year :/
Also, I have certain fondness for LOTRO because it inspired me to design Captain class... Need I say more?
Anyway, trying and playing is free but risks getting attached to progress already done.

Needless to say, I had an interesting weekend. Saturday's gaming session was cut short when I collapsed from intense abdominal pain and had to be taken to the ER. A whole night of tests just to determine thar I had a ruptured ovarian cyst. The only good thing was not having to be put in a hospital gown. I was wearing a loose t shirt and yoga pants so they let me keep a tiny fraction of dignity and keep my normal clothes on.
So I've been resting and taking lots if ibuprofen for the pain since they let me out. It's slowly getting better.
And just to add to the insanity, we got two new kittens. Eris and Mordin. Eris is grey with stripes and Mordin is all black. On the not so good side the kidlet seems to be allergic. :(
+2 get welll soon, Lynora

Drejk hears Lederhosen, Drejk turns on Die Toten Hosen "Pushed Again"...
Which leads to looking on Die Toten Hosen article on wikipedia and picking a promising song from their creations... Hmmm, let's try Hier Kommt Alex.
one of their boggest classics, and a great song, and from one of my first LP's ever: "Ein kleines bischen Horrorsschau" 1989

I understand ruptured cysts are the worst kind of pain. I am glad you are on the mend and I hope there are no more cysts or ruptures in the future.
I am sad to hear of your sons allergies but glad to hear that the kittens are wonderful. I wish I could have a kitten.
Yeah, my pain scale is kinda skewed. When I had my son the anesthesiologist screwed up so my legs were numb but my torso wasn't, so I could feel everything through the c section. It was a whole new world of pain, kinda like an out of body experience, and I remember wondering who was screaming and realizing that it was me. So that's my 10 on a 1 to 10 pain scale. This was a solid 8, with occasional waves of 9. Really hope I never have to go through this again.
But I'm doing much better now and even able to sit up again. I had to lay flat the past couples of days because that was the only comfortable position. The kitties have been making convalescing more pleasant. They curl up with me and purr which keeps me from getting all stressed out. :)

@ Lynora - Yikes! That sounds terrifying. :( I hope you're feeling better now. Is that the kind of thing that happens once and then you're clear going forward, or one of those ones that is more likely once is starts happening? I really hope it's the former.
Hope the kittens are working out. I know when my mum got a kitten, my allergies kicked up something awful, but after a month (taking an antihistamine every day) I adapted. I know meds vary across the pond, but I got this stuff called Neo Clarityn. Really did the job.
He's taking Benadryl regularly now. Might have to add in some Zyrtec like what I take. Claritin tends to have to many side effects. I've had good results with Allegra in the past, but my husband gets nasty side effects from that. Zyrtec tends to cause less trouble than the other options.

A kitty without a playmate is an unhappy, mischievous kitty indeed.Yeah I was thinking similarly. Outdoors isn't an option (apartment and all) and me being gone about 9 hours of most days with no one else home.
It'll be a few months before I can consider it in greater detail though.
Based on past experience, more than two cats is not at all a good idea, but two is just about perfect. Although our current two are kind of avoiding each other. They are humorously polite about everything, even taking turns when they both want to play with the same toy.

Yeah. I had a lone cat when I was out in Arizona, about five or six years ago. His two siblings belonged to Ebon and my brother. Those two became the sweetest cats I'd ever seen. Mine became a mean little gutter who really only liked me, and not terribly much.
There were other contributing circumstances, such as some mistreatment by a caretaker while we were away for a trip to visit the parents, but I imagine being home alone a lot probably didn't do much for kitten psyche either.

Let's go ahead and do this dice thing.
8d12
6 + 6 + 10 + 6 + 8 + 9 + 7 + 6 = 58Well, not my best rolls ever but could be a lot worse =) 70 base HP isn't terrible for a level-9 Barbarian pre-CON.
Hey You got 11 extra HP, That's like a level. I believe you may have Tordek as a running mate. Also your build is 35 pts as I count it, we will be doing 25

Starting Strength would be 2 points lower, which brings it down to 25. She upped her Strength at levels 4 and 8.

Yeah they get +2 STR +2 CHA -2 INT
Prior to modifiers her stats are STR 14 DEX 14 CON 14 INT 16 WIS 8 CHA 12 which comes up to 25 on this calculator.

Actually, I contribute that cat's problems to two things:
1) A "friend" who was letting the kittens stay at his place until Orthos had his apartment situated decided at about 3 months old that they needed to be outdoor cats without consulting us first. My cats stayed on the porch. Orthos' ran off and became quite feral. In fact, when we reclaimed the kittens, Orthos' was missing. It wasn't until a month later that he reappeared.
2) Lack of cat-friendly environment (scratchers, kitty lounges/shelves/etc.) and company
Note that by the time the caretaker situation had happened, the cat had already attacked your brother TWICE, my mom, and a few others. So, as bad as that situation was, it was not the cause.
Sorry for the derail.
