Spoilers for KM.

Spoiler:
So, after knocking the duke out the window, we'd taken over Ft. Drelev and were in the process of planning for the Talon Lords' attack. We hadn't brought enough armies and needed to stall.

Step 1. Send the spymistress out to rendezvous with the field commander and guerrilla tactics the crap out of them. Success! Gained six days for our armies to get to town.

Step 2. "Hey, they're a superstitious tribe, right?" Take one wizard with polymorph, one warmage with an intelligent sword, and one oracle with insane social skills, mix with army scouts, bake at 350 for 15 minutes, and you get the Talon Lords tearing each other apart with in-fighting.

Step 3. "Guys guys we can totally cast form of the dragon and do a fly-over it's gonna be awesome." Use as distraction, move armies to surround.

Step 4. Morale in the toilet, unconditional surrender without rolling a single attack.

And that's why I have no idea how mass combat works.

Posting from the farthest north I have ever been VERMONT! here for a wedding. BNBing a place with friends - this place is HUGE!!!
I HAVE A BED FOR THE FIRST TIME IN FOREVER!!!!!! And my own room too. It's essentially just a day or two but still...YAY!
This is the most rural place my friends have been in, but not myself. They wee taken aback by a place heated solely by firewood/place, but working together we had a fire going in less than 40 seconds. I'm thinking I'll take pictures of everything and post em when I get back. This is going to be an awesome time, methinks.

Lost our bed due to bedbugs a while back. Trying to save up for a new bed. And living room set. Sigh.

I wish, then I could ditch this ratty ass carpet 8>)

Actually that is the price of memory foam, I also got 2 pillows and a couple sets of sheets. They had a mattress at this place retailing for 15K.

Back from work. Exactly one week from now I will be starting final day of work.

Overtime tomorrow but I will get two days of weekend because Monday is bank holiday... So five more days of work anyway.

This is one of the things about getting old. I remember when I could change my own oil for $10, buy a battery for $20, and a set of new tires for $100.

Of course I'm also old enough to remember when gas and smokes were less than a buck.

I'm not that old and I can still remember when you could fill a car from empty for under $20. Heck, until I was about 15, I thought the entire purpose of the $20 bill was for little more than paying for gas. Anything bigger than that, my parents used a check.

Yeah I know, my first job when I was 16, I was getting paid $3.35/hr and that was more than enough to get by

I've heard mixed reviews about memory foam. What do you think?

Silver Crusade

I love mine, It does need to be broken in correctly i.e rotate every 2 weeks for a couple of months. Mine comes with a 90 day sleep on it if you don't like it return it guarantee.

Previously I had a memory foam "topper". What it comes down to for me is 2K for 10 years minimum for a super comfortable mattress is a bargain

hi everyone,

friday game canceled the second wweek in a row :-(

next weEkend I will spend with friends/ former co-workers in Munich,

so a third week without gaming but many Mass of beer to make up for that

Silver Crusade

In addition to my mattress, I also have bath mats and insoles of memory foam. I could be described as mildly addicted to the stuff.

My wife loves our. I like it too. If you take care of it, then good ones are well worth the price.

Heh, no I don't recall seeing any boats or other vessels.

I see some new avatars gracing familiar names. I promise I won't change mine...unless there's a mechabadger out there somewhere.

This week has kicked my butt, thanks to an accretion of requirements on a build of extremely old software that very few people know how to build anymore. The extra hours will make for a nice paycheck to more than pay for GenCon, so I shouldn't complain.
