Alignment in general has come under fire as alignment-light mmo games have increased in popularity and class abilities are seen as party resources- if the party needs the paladins abilities in a situation that the paladin wouldn't enter as a character, that's tough nuggies: the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the individual.
I'm running into issues with complaints about rogues in my kingmaker game along with complaints about finesse weapons and rapiers specifically, the idea of a single class having so many skills and being able to do so much damage through what some see as clever rule exploits is causing some friction. People seem to either want the rogue more or less powerful-noone is happy with the way things are currently.
Note that this is only my experience and opinion.

on my way home from work, on Autobahn A3, I have at the moment, to pass by a loooong (6km) road works
they redoing the road surface
I was just entering the area when the radio anounced that in that area they had just digged up:
a frikkin 500kg arial bomb from WW2
they announced that the Autobahn (one of the most heavily frequented roads in all of europe) would have to been closed
I came by the police, construction workers and bomb squad looking at the bomb 5 meters from me but was through before they closed
the road was closed for 5 hours
(things like that happen very often, last week two city bloxks of Kassel had to be evacuated because they found an arial bomb)
last year a excavator driver died on a construction site at Autobahn A3 when he hit a bomb

I think this is one of the main reasons it's never been an issue in my groups - this is rarely the mindset my players have.

We're talking more complex things than calculators now. Simulations, WebQuests, design problems/programs, so on and so forth. It's almost like the professors think there's TIME in the stuffed-full-to-the-gills common core based classes to afford days spent on independent study/practice.
Seriously, free days in my student teaching classroom were few and far between.

Sensation in jaw slowly turns from annoyance into mild but persistent pain. Teeth sixth and seventh are a bit wobbly. I hope that if there will be need for removal only seventh goes... I use this side of jaw for chewing :/
OUCH!!! I am sorry to hear that. Hopefully they can save all of them.

If you multiply or divide two wrongs, then you get a right. But adding or subtracting two wrongs does not make it right. Also, the even exponential function of a wrong make it right, but the odd exponential function is still wrong.

We'll see. It's exactly two weeks before I go back to Poland and will start looking for a dentist soon thereafter.
If it is unruly eight, with the way my seventh occupies the end of the jaw, I don't see how it could be saved while getting to eighth... Except by cutting through the side of gum... *ouch*

Healers and Ranger are my personal favorites, but I love me some rogue too just the way they are. My only complaint with healer types is the lack of skill points. I really like having a broad range of skills. Traits or class dipping let me diversify my skills, but I find it all but impossible to improve them with a cleric's skill points. I really liked the 3.5 cloistered cleric.

I sympathize. I'm a skill point junkie. But most of the high-skill-point classes don't interest me - I'm not a rogue fan at all, not too big on rangers, don't like typical monks (though I'm having fun with Zen Archer), etc. etc. etc.
My favored classes tend to be front-line beaters with unique abilities (barbarian, paladin, bloodrager, Tome of Battle-style maneuver users, etc.), half-casters (inquisitor, magus, bard - these are the sorts of things that'll probably be the closest I get to playing a skill monkey), and full spont-casters (oracle, sorcerer, arcanist).
I am really really looking forward to the opportunity to play an arcanist though. INT-based spont casting, yes please.

The inquisitor has really grown on me. Diane had an inquisitor of Milani in Serpent Skull who was basically a freedom fighter and back up healer, and she was AWESOME!
My son in law did an unbreakable fighter/inquisitor of Pharasma for RotRL that was very cool also.

Bombs and shells are problem in some regions in Poland too. And some stashes of old resistance weapons and ammo - often hidden in 45 from Soviets in anticipation of following fight against communists which never happened.

Kind of like my cleric in Jess Door's Wrath of the Righteous PbP. He gets 1 skill point per level. :(

Yay, on monday I played call of Cthulhu - using another players PC. It was alot of fun since we usually play at a club or our RP is a bit more along the lines of exploration & mystery/problem solving. Hence to do some atmospheric RP was brilliant.
Anyway hope everyone's week is going well & will improve.

I hear that. I played a Cleric in my first PF game, and really enjoyed the class, but the lack of skill points was frustrating. I ended up not putting any points into KN (Religion), which made for some funny impromptu roleplaying of trying to make up religious practices on the fly (which no one believed anyways because I also had no skill points for Bluff :P ).
Playing a Human Wizard currently. Now I have ALL the skill points! :D
