Just checking in folks. At the library for free wi-fi and sending in resumes to a couple of companies and finalizing the paperwork for the one that offered me the job. Really hoping for this second job though, it looks to be a potentially longer term job and well it pays better too. Send good thoughts please.

Good luck man. More so on the second, but definitely on both.

Depends on which part ya mean. If about the mothers, as BT said, they've earned it after that. Besides, lots of doctors say it's good for them, due to the high iron content. We call it "liquid bread" for a reason. You could live off the stuff.
As for the underage drinking, yeah, not as happy with that part of our culture. Unfortunately, the only movement on it at the moment is how to make it even younger. But that's a ramblin' for a different thread, methinks.

how did she like Germany ?
She will be back home on Saturday (and hopefully awake enough to play some Pathfinder at the con on Sunday).
She had a great time, and she really enjoyed Germany. I can imagine her wanting to go back on her own.
Paris? Goodness no. There are Parisians there.

I'll admit I'm approaching this with a different perspective, so I'm having a hard time imagining how it can be healthy at all. Here, there's concerns about alcohol being passed on by breastfeeding. So it kinda leaves me bumfuzzled.
The underage drinking bit is definitely bad.

Gah!
Father is driving me crazy with his BS...
I want to go home...
*sigh* About five weeks more... And I have just lend father five hundred pounds because he wants to buy a used car from a coworker in place of used car he has at the moment.
I'm sorry he is being such a pain and hope it gets resolved soon.

Tonight is PIZZA night, a rare treat around here.
We go to a local place that serves up NY-style pizzas called Rocky's. The original cook & owner was an Italian immigrant who lived a decade or two in NYC before moving here. The place has been around since my folks moved here in 1976, and continues to have excellent food and better company.
I'm stoked. I've been craving their pizza for weeks.
