How does "sexy car insurance" works? Is it for sexy cars only (I don't find any cars sexy, BTW) or is it sold by sexy sellers?

Clearly its doing something right if you are already naked.

And I even don't have a car.

It might have something to do with my today stride through deviant art and adding a few favorites...

Happy Mothers Day FAWTL!

I just had a really excellent day. The weather was about as perfect as it ever gets: 68f/20c, clear, sunny with a light wind. Today you could really smell the green in the air, something sorely lacking with this cold spring. I baked home-made English Muffins for breakfast, which my wife cooked scrambled eggs and feta to accompany. Then I spent the day mowing, shoveling and pruning my yard. After many completed chores my wife made pulled pork Mac and cheese and an apple cinnamon bread pudding with streusel topping for dinner. Bliss!

I don't really do holidays, but these Mother's Day cards gave me a laugh. Warning: contains Game of Thrones spoilers.

This was a pretty good day. Kidlet made a Mother's Day card for me, we had a monster movie marathon (Godzilla vs Mothra, Godzilla: King of All Monsters, a little bit of King Kong before we got bored and moved on, and Pacific Rim), and had dinner at my favorite restaurant. :)

Thanks. :)

I knew you'd approve of the movie choices. :)

God. I f*&%ing love Spartacus.

That better be Kirk Douglas Spartacus you're talking about and not blood and let's kill the only character whose actor's got any charisma in season one Spartacus.

(Okay, two of them had charisma - John Hannah and Lucy Lawless. But the rest were pretty bad. Still a better show than Camelot, though.)

And apparently I'm grumpy this morning. Sorry.

Scarab Sages

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Monday! 'Tis looking to be a somewhat awesome day, as long as work doesn't spoil things.

Scarab Sages

Although, in truth, I just want this week to be over already. Only because my parents are driving in on Friday to spend the weekend. My nephew makes his first communion this coming Sunday.

It'll be nice to see my mom and dad, and they can finally see the new house. It wasn't finished the last time they were here.

Scarab Sages

And, yet again I see that my work email simply refuses to come through on my phone. It's a blessing, I suppose.

Scarab Sages

All right, fires put out (for the time being). Time for another cup of coffee and more work. See y'all on the flip side.

I wake up grumpy most every morning, but she usually goes back to sleep once I've left.

I like to watch Kirk as Spartacus once every couple years.

Hail all and sundry. Hope ye are all well and having a fair day. It is both rainy and sunny here, wearing shades while under an umbrella feels weird. :P

I fear our opinions differ greatly on this. It's one of the best shows I've ever seen. I'd be interested in discovering what you think works better with respect to the subject.

Hey what's up man?

Not too much strange now, had the kidlet down for the weekend, which was good fun.

Visit:
The weather was lousy over the weekend, so we (me and my ma) couldn't bring him outdoors as much as he'd have liked, but we did what we could to make indoors fun. I got him a new ball, which he got really excited over, even if he hasn't quite gotten how to hold it without dropping it yet. He loves trying to catch it. He was laughing so hard at one point I had to stop for fear he was going to lose his lunch from over excitement. I've been reading him this little book of farm animals, and making the noises. He lights up when the chicken page comes along, cause when he point at the chicks, I start doing little chirping, and he seems to love that, for whatever reason. He's also trying to copy the noises, which is adorable, cause he can't quite manage it, but he tries so hard. ^_^ Then my da came over with a new black & white animal hat, and Theo goes mmmmmmmmm (trying to make the cow noise). It was cute. He also brought bubbles, which the little one was equal parts fascinated and excited by. Overall, a great visit. I wish more than fortnightly was manageable though. And judging by how excited he gets when we arrive to pick him up, and how resistant he is to staying when we drop him back, I think he does too. :/

Sorry about the recent silence. I've moved into the new house but my PC is still in a box.

A new living place? College-place? Rented apartment? Something other?

I live in a Pain Cave.

Anyone up for making a FAWTL settlement in PFO? The land rush is on!

I got in on the start up, but I haven't had time to do anything with it. What's up in PFO?

EDIT: wasn't there a PFO section in the message boards here?

A friend emailed this to me.

Brian Burns - Upside Down

There is. If you got in on the Early Enrollment you can cast a vote for a group. The top 30 groups get a pre-set Settlement. FAWTL had like 10 votes for a guild, I'm sure a few folks are out here that are going into Early Enrollment.

Can I call?

EDIT: I may ask you to call Diane.

Good night all! Glorious storm here. :)
