WOOOOO!!!!!

Badger copter sighted!

Yay! It's 1987!!

I'm not getting a perm and/or a denim jacket. Just saying.

I had a denim jacket when I was in high school, I liked it. It was comfy and could be worn in all but the hottest and coldest parts of the year comfortably. Sadly I outgrew it.

I still have a denim jacket. Back at home.

Time to bed.

*sigh*

I could use own room.

Why does Apple keep making the itunes GUI less manageable with each update? I'm this close to getting one of those "basically a USB-drive with an earphone socket" players just so I won't have to deal with their program.

If things don't improve in the next month or so, I am switching to Windows phones. I bought an iPhone to only have to carry one machine around for phoning and music, and now I HATE the way music is handled by the whole Apple system.

Yes. It's like they are taking UX classes and using them for evil. "How can we rapidly and efficiently frustrate and anger our users?"

I got a perm. With naturally curly hair.

This was not my best decision ever.

I spent the next year being called various versions of "poodle". And this was not inappropriate, given my new "hairstyle".

-.-

Enough said.

Well. Just got home and picked up Chinese food along the way. My supervisor gave me a ride home. I cannot complain about her this day, as she did not have to do that. It was more than sweet of her.

She's just trying to soften you up so she can move in for the kill. Don't fall for it!

Sadly, there is no upshot for me if I had gotten out of work early today, as I am surrounded by water in all directions. Very not nice water at that. The rig's been rocking all day.

Scarab Sages

Seriously, it's still moving. I think it's trying to rock me to sleep.

Scarab Sages

I hope everyone had happy Tuesday. Mine wasn't particularly happy, but it was satisfying. I covered everything I ended to cover and got plenty of good pictures and additional notes.

Scarab Sages

Tomorrow afternoon we leave the platform. Helicopter back to Houma, then drive to New Orleans.

But it won't be until Thursday that I fly back to Houston. Might call my parents and see about going to visit them.

By the by, for some reason this rig has a thing for the Octopus. It's even part of there emblem. Either they're secretly part of some kind of Hydra-like organization, or I've finally found those Cthulhu worshippers I've been looking for.

Scarab Sages

Iä! Iä! Cthulhu ftgan!!

I"m not really a hardware person. I can build a computer...but I'd usually rather not. I like software much better. I am, after all, an Architect (INTP).
