I have never heard of a Sylvester party.

Oh, OK, a New Year's Eve party.

Yep, we have plenty of those here. :)

Some in the nude!

Fruit tray and fruit dip is done. Likewise with veggie tray/dip. Breakfast casserole is assembled. Lil' Smokies are in the BBQ sauce and warming. All ingredients are at room temperature for the spinach artichoke dip. The cocktail sauce for the cold shrimp is made.

Spoiler:
If you use store-bought cocktail sauce, shame on you! A lovely family member in Texas showed me how to make cocktail sauce from Heinz Chili Sauce, ground horseradish, and squeeze of lemon juice. It'll knock your socks off. Give it a try. It was wonderful on those fresh Gulf shrimp, which were edible back then.
The white wine is in the refrigerator. The meats and cheese are ready for slicing. I'm about to start on the sloppy joes for tomorrow, since they tend to get better overnight.

What am I forgetting? >_>

This has to be the umpteenth page with either nekkid Badgah, nekkid Treppa, or one or the other commenting on nudity.

Apparently to invite me, if you're going to be nekkid. If Badgah is going to be naked, I'll still come over, just not as excitedly.

You have to deliberately look under the fur to tell, so you'll be fine.

Badger's the nude one. Try the wunian snow dance. Maybe it'll get cold enough for him to cover up.

Few Americans know who St. Pope Sylvester was.

Happy new Year everyone !!!!!!!

Hi CJ

Happy New Year to you and yours, aeglos!

7.25 hours to go here.

But I already had the shoes for that. Only reason they demand boots is because they want more ankle protection.

Yeah, you know how easy it is to twist your ankle when kicking cowering minion?!

Nearly 2014 here. At my home it is already 2014 for the last 57 minutes.

His most well-known and lauded miracle was finally dispatching that annoyingly evil Tweety Devil. :)

It might be one of those things that make you feel mighty real, or possibly not.

Happy new year everypne, and zapraszamy do Anglii, Drejk :)

We've sometimes gone to one hosted by some friends, but it doesn't appear to be happening this year.

I'm mostly okay with just spending the night at home in my nice warm room, anyway.

*grumble-grumble* is there particular reason for a new year anyway? The new one does not seem to be particularly different that the previous one.

Sends a flock of land-piranhas to Drejk so he has something new this year.

I wish they would switch the Vienna Philharmonic concert back to New Year's Eve, or show an opera like they used to. I loved watching those.

It's my one frivolous wish in this life to attend a New Year's concert in Vienna, all dressed up in an evening gown and opera gloves and weighed down with jewels, on the arm of a dashing gentlepuffin in a snazzy tux. I have no idea why. I just wish I could.

I am afraid they drowned in Atlantic Ocean...

We should dread the moment of appearance of amphibious piranhas, though.

Stupid ocean! *shakes fist*

Uh....huh? So English speakers are or aren't human? Which? Either? Both?
Such alien and distorted sounds could not be fully produced by human entity.

Well, so much for being all quantum about things in 2013. Maybe 2014 will be easier.

*Gently covers Orthos with blankie* 'Nighty-night.

HAPPY NEW YEAR WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Quack.

Meh.

I woke up with headache and aching back.
