Just remember that drow rhymes with bow, and you'll be fine.

Drow rhymes with Wow and now as well as cow.

I do think we need an offical ruling on that pronunciation issue.

I think this is the only one on the list I've had issue with. I've always just pronounced it Bullet.

As have I. I will also point out that list it contradicts itself and says that Drow rhymes with row and bow. So in the end as much as it annoys me, it doesn't really matter.

I thought the "Drow rhymes with bow" thing was a joke, since likewise "bow" can be pronounced two ways.

Take a bow before picking up your bow and arrows.

Just finished my 9th level rogue for our upcoming Doom Comes to Dustpawn game. My youngest son will be gm'ing the module for us. Our goal is to play it before Gen Con. Based on what he has read, he thinks we will enjoy it very much. Can't wait.

Drow rhymes with now, unless one is referring to the Lord President's particular form of dark elf.

Then it rhymes with BttH.

Indeed, my friend! I'll even bring beer. And a furniture dolly. And maybe even a hand truck (as soon as I buy one).

Edit: I don't suppose you know what part of Big H you'll be settling in?

Also, good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Saturday! Now it's time to go watch over the boy and make sure he behaves himself.

Man. When I do my round-trip tour of half the country in a few years (after I move out; first to KS to visit Scint, then AZ to visit Ebon and my brother and pick up a bunch of stuff I left out there when I moved, then back home) I might have to make a point of swinging through Houston and saying hello to the gathered FAWTLfolk. Especially since I probably will be going to Texas anyway to visit the family members and friends I have there in San Antonio, San Marcos, and Victoria.

I'll have to work the logistics of that out when the time comes.

Solnes says the North West part, she is looking for within 20-30 minutes of her office.

This is good. I'm sort of in North Houston area. So we're probably only going to be an hour or two away from each other. :)

Cool, a fan of the kaidas!

I know I really like them, but I wasn't sure how other people felt about them.

They're probably my favorite recurring theme on your site.

I'll probably be replacing the native pseudodragons in Crimson Throne with kaida populations when I run it.

I've always pronounced it as if it were a French word. Basically bullet, but with the stress on the first syllable, and with a slightly different u-sound.
