Well, it's official. I have introduced my boyfriend to Pathfinder. His level 1 druid laid waste to some marauding pyramaniacal goblins.Well, laying waste is what druids do best. It's why I don't allow them in my games. Bunch of freakin' munchkins...
Not so much at level 1, so it's all good :)

I need to know which enemy we are to face in the future so I know what weapon to walk with!Morning, all. What did I miss?Well, Scott's day started off in a bad way, when a coffee pot explosion led to the evacuation of his office complex. Meanwhile, Steve found Diane's computer engineering background handy when the pair became trapped in a state-of-the-art automated home model by a computer virus. And, across town, Gary and Max were attacked by a yam-throwing....No, wait! That's my soap opera.
So...I sacrifice Max to live a new life with a Sailor Moon cosplayer...
There are worse fates, I suppose.

Worst bit of work I ever had to do on a car was replace the water pump on an 86 olds cutlass I used to drive. The part itself only cost about $40, but replacing it took me most of the day. Big problem came when I had to remove a radiator hose - it had been on so long it broke when I was removing it, so I had to scrape off the pieces that were still attached - that took an hour or so.
That sounds awful.

Sent my two remaining players an email today to try and get my Kingmaker game back going. It's hard with two players, but I think I'm going to give at least one of them a follower - probably a cleric. Or maybe a gestalt monk/cleric.
Two players with two PCs each worked quite well for the Kingmaker game Diane and I played in for a while.

Well, it had to happen. I slipped on a patch of thin ice and land on my right side. Right arm is sore from the impact, but luckily I have no bruising or discoloration. It's sore, yes, I know. But i was wondering if any one knows any going over-the-counter remedies to ease the discomfort?

If it's just sore, I'd personally recommend regular old aspirin/acetaminophen/excedrin/ibuprofen, whichever you prefer. Hopefully that's the whole of it, no broken bones or anything.
I know some people use ice/heat packs, but I wouldn't know how to do that properly so I won't risk a recommendation. >_>

hair of the dog. Or in this case, ice patch. Ice to keep swelling down and numb you up. Then Tylenol/aspirin/ibuprofen.

A soak in a warm bath with epsom salts followed by an ice pack and some ibuprofen or aspirin. If you have any Vicks vapo rub I find that makes a good gentle alternative to things like IcyHot...although in my case my skin actually bubbles and blisters if exposed to the latter, so if you don't have that problem you can always try something like that.

tiger balm is very nice too. :) When I was having bruising and muscle soreness, tiger balm worked wonders.
