Your phone's software was probably corrupted by an invading artificial intelligence bent on world domination. Either that, or it was co-opted by a secret black-ops unit and they were using it to send a signal.

Happens to me all the time.

Apparently "Bitty" is a misspelling and she should be a "Biddy". You learn something new every day.

You need your listening horn, old buzzard. What you heard was somebody calling you the "Goodyear LIMP". Because you're limp like a wet noodle.

Police officers stand around the train that derailed and crashed into a residential building in Saltsjobaden, outside Stockholm, on Tuesday.

All I can say is that this sort of thing would not have been allowed to happen back when grand-dad worked at SJ.

(And the only question I can answer about those is that the train kept going after leaving the rails due to going really, really fast.)

Nope. This wasn't punishment. This was standard Army stupid. It's one of the reasons I didn't make a caree out of it.

5,745 new posts? Frak that noise.

Just dropping in for a moment to say hi. I know some of you who are on Facebook we communicate, but there's a score of you that I don't encounter much because of that.

Spring 2013 Semester starts today. I'm insane for taking yet another math course. But I'm going to dip my hand into HTML. Need to reinvent myself so that I can dominate all the Internet 34s.

It is my destiny. </cue Imperial March>

Ciao, meatbags!

My statistics prof is an odd duck. So is my calculus2 prof, but I knew that when I signed up for his class since he was one of the subs for my prof that disappeared for half the term last semester. Not really a fan of the mythology prof. Wishing I'd taken physical anthro instead now. Ah well. At least it won't be hard.
Only class I haven't been to now is yoga which isn't until Friday.

Hey, Urizen. Long time no see. Hope your term goes well. :)

Although I don't have much to shovel, my in-laws offered to buy me a snow blower for Christmas. I believe I mentioned that before. Anyway, while I was in Lowe's on Sunday I took a look at some and found a possible - A Troy-Bilt, 21 inch, gas powered, with both a pull start and electric start. It was $499, so I told the wife to tell her parents if they insist on buying it that I'd cover half.

The idea of not having to break my back if it snows more than a few inches greatly appeals to me.

He almost certainly got it from a massive chemical exposure that killed the rest of his team when he was contracting for the EPA. Now in addition to chemo and radiation he has to deal with lawyers, courts, and government obstruction.

When it rains it pours.

He's nothing if not a survivor. He has survived multiple gun shot wounds, knifings, addiction, terminal disease diagnosis, having heavy construction equipment land on his head, and more than I can list here. He stepped up and played a huge support role when my wife was dieing of cancer. He certainly has his flaws, but he's the kind of friend that would truly take a bullet for you.

I hope he overcomes this as well.

Thanks guys!
