Today we mourn passing of my tea pot, after two and a half years of service (or was it three and a half?).

Yesterday I was playing Scattergories and the letter was "G" and one of the categories was "villains/monsters". I wrote "gorgon" and had to prove to the other players that that is a real thing.
Then I had a dream where some lady defrosted her freezer, the result of which was unleashing a shadowy gorgon upon an unwitting populace. It was actually an unsettling dream as we were fleeing this monster and my heart was racing when I woke up, although the monster's genesis was rather absurd looking back on it.

that's not as sad to me, there are a lot if regional names for weapons that you just don't hear about unless you are from that culture.

As I'd hoped, had a good birthday, even though I couldn't take the day off from work. Went to El Tiempo's for some tex mex, margaritas and tequila shots with friends, who kindly drove me so I could partake without worrying about how I was going to get home. So yeah, miles better than last year.
I think I've broken that rain of sucky luck we poor Sagitariuses have been experiencing, FHDM.

Nah, on the north side of town, closer to my place. My friends drove me so I could imbibe alcohol, and that was closest to my place. :D

Back from my last exam of this term. Now I just have to wait a couple of days to find out if I did well enough to pass the class. I needed a minimum of sixty percent to pass the class, so here's hoping. But at least now I can stop trying to remember all this crazy organic chemistry stuff. :)
