Almost at 1 and half pages for a 5 to 7 page paper due in just over a week at least I am started.

And you think you'll do it faster naked? Or will be the teacher more lenient if you bring it without clothes?

Hello there people, just finished Rivers Run Red with my group.

How it went (Warning, long):
So, the game started off with the players going to see who or what was crying for help, managing to partly avoid the worst of a Leucrotta ambush. The Dwarf Cleric who picked up the smelly coins from the beast's lair figured washing them by the riverside would be a good idea. On the way back to the capital of Numas (their little nation), they found Old Crackjaw, managing to avoid his Improved Sunder and nasty Bite attacks with the Ranger critically succeeding on her Wild Empathy check and managing to get the critter to leave the fisherman's secret spot without a fight.

After a good rest, they then went over to face the Hodag in the beast's own lair, getting a Keen Spear out of it. After that, they took some downtime to craft magic items and relax, the Necromancer focusing on teaching his two Sorcerer apprentices some of his tricks. Said apprentices are a Changeling they found captured by cultists of Gyronna (oddly her bloodline is Undead), and a Kobold Chief Sootscale said had the blood of dragons in him.

However, they were all interrupted one early morning by the sounds of buildings being smashed and people screaming. Once they got to the scene from their citadel, they saw something big had wrecked the place, and the resident Cleric of Urgathoa had blood on her scythe and a wound on her right side. She told them about the Owlbear that attack, and laughed a bit about the fact that she managed to pluck an eye from the beast.

The group then moved on to face the beast, finding the hidden back entrance of the Owlbear Lair and having the bad luck of encountering it in the room where the dead mate and barely living cub were in. Luckily for them, the Owlbear didn't get a chance to rend anyone, and went down thanks to the Ranger pulling off yet another insane critical hit. He made the new record of 72 damage on a crit today, too. After killing the frenzied beast, they took the cub with them (they later gave it to a local druid) and decided to leave, but not before killing a Shambling Mound (and three Violet Fungi) that came after them.

In the end, they received a letter from Restov informing them of people disappearing in the neighbouring colony of Varnhold, and of a person being sent from nearby to help them out. Said person is the new player's character, who missed out today's session because I forgot to tell him it was today. My DM PC (Ironskin Monk of Irori) retired since she had been building a monastery this whole time and wanted to take on some apprentices after all that adventuring, also taking time to guard the place. She handed her gear and cash to them before heading off on her own way. All in all a nice session, I'd say. Next time I should remind myself to send everyone a message about when we're having a session, though. I also need to buy some meds to keep my allergic reactions down.

Silver Crusade

Afternoon, all. What did I miss?

Just my session post.

Scarab Sages

Did I mention that my wife actually caught some vomit in her hand yesterday?

Scarab Sages

Also, I think I've got a velociraptor in the house.

Scarab Sages

And yes, I believe I did get something of what the boy had. Just not the vomit part.

He seems to have overcome however.

That's really great news AZ, the fact that he's over come it not that you've got it. Take care of yourself.

Oh, and since the Owlbear only had one eye, we started making joke references to one anime at the table.

The main villain of that one happens to be a bear that got its eye shot by a hunter, going berserk in the process.

Saw Fiddler on the Roof tonight. Glad to see the high schools in the area are maintaining a good standard of show.

Morning (at 13:04).

Scarab Sages

Watched The Amazing Spider-Man movie last night. Pretty decent flick. I actually think I liked it better than the Toby movies.

Scarab Sages

Also, good morning FAWTLY Folk. Looks like it's going to be a nice Sunday, weather-wise that is.

Yesterday we stopped at the grocery store to pick up a few things, among which was stuff for lunch. Just so happens we get there right as they're putting out fresh loaves of French bread - still nice and warm. Mmmmmm......

Well, had a nice visit from the forum's resident Communerd goblin. We sat down and figured out how to play Zombicide, which was quite fun (although the horde ate us in the end, alas)

Now off to the verdant paradise of Brockton MA to visit my daughter. Laters!

*blink*

Well, Patrick was overwhelmed with gratitude when a visiting friend sacrificed himself to save Patrick from a horde of mindless zombies. Meanwhile, Scott continued to suffer through the illness his son had passed on to him, never realizing it was all part of his wife's clever plan to prevent him from going on his business trip. And, across town, Holger's search for.....No, wait! That's my soap opera!

Probably the worst gig I've ever played, but the most fun.

Cool. I hope stuff gets less sucky, and I hope your holidays go decently. The holiday season tends to be a tough one for me.

It's a skill; it takes practice!

That sounds very cool. Do you get to bring Sabine?

The game is on. Y'all take care!

Have fun BT.

Stoopid little mousies,
You don't belong in housies.
I don't give a crap,
If you don't like 'Oh Snap'

I'd offer to loan you my mouse trap, but winter's coming and I'll need it. It has somewhere around 14 kills to its credit.

Sorry, too much Game of Thrones...

I don't reuse, so I buy the cheap ones. 2 kills in the attached garage last night. Gotta get 'em before they sneak in the house.

How you want them to increase in level and kill more mice if you don't reuse them?

möff-löff.

It's monday, and I haven't slept well in two days. I'm surprised I'm doing a decent job today.

Exactly! Think of all those tiny mouse souls the trap can consume.

Scarab Sages

Speaking of mouse traps, did I mention that mine even has bloodstains?

Scarab Sages

Also, good morning FAWTLY Folk! It's Monday! Again!

Scarab Sages

Gonna be a busy day at work. Gotta try and get my orders in for my trip to Japan. I really don't want to go, but it's part of the job. At the same time, however, there is that small nugget of excitement that comes when I travel. Especially when it's to somewhere I've never been before. Yeah, I've been to Japan, but always Yokosuka, never Sasebo.

Scarab Sages

Speaking of work.....almost there. Bye for now.

Have a nice day. I'm already having one despite my tiredness!! :D

Yeah, the mice could get infected with some unsavory disease while being killed!

I make sure to wash my hands a lot after handling it.

Handling the mouse, or the trap?

That's quite horrific.

Anyway good day and we're around the 70,000 mark. Yay.

I hope everyone will have a lovely Thanksgiving (US) week and that there will be much merriment whether with families, or those that are special to you.

For those feeling lonesome, pop in here. We'll keep you company and try to raise your spirits!

So, I raise a glass of spirits to the happiness of FAWTLies and the world in general.
