Gah. Made a spelling error in company name. Not good. But better here than in application.
Naked errors? I wonder if I ever done that before.

Naked error would be sleeping with person you should not. Not sleeping with someone you should, on the other hand, would rarely be a naked error. Unless something really weird happened.

I really hope it works out for you, Drejk!
A good friend here in Houston brought a buddy into town from Las Vegas for a job. He's just gotten a lease and a car...and they called everyone in for a mandatory meeting (those are never good): they almost closed my friend's entire plant down (he's head of operations), but they opted instead to only shut half of it down. My friend's freind who just entered all those commitments got let go.
::sigh::
it really sucks. My friend has twins on the way, and his wife is on doctor mandated bed rest, so the though of him losing his position was especially scary! :(
The market's relatively strong in Houston, though, isn't it? I hope he finds something else soon. If he does, the lease and car won't have been in vain. it is extremely hot. Especially for engineering, purchasing, and project management. All related to oil and gas.

He's an electrician. The company is trying to place people let go in other plants they own, but there's no current opening for an electrician.
I'm hoping he'll find something quickly, though.
when I was looking to switch jobs this May, I found my new position, with a nice raise in it for me, in 4 business days. O.O
If you're in the right fields, the job market is indeed good here.

As opposed to your nickname? :P
Back from post office.
I went to the closest one and discovered that since the last time I were there, they changed the work hours and now close at 19, instead of 20... Wondering if this general change or specific to that post office I went to another one, a few streets away. It was still open.

They have been closing branches of the post office in my area, to cut costs.
My local mail actually gets routed through Texas (Dallas I think) before it gets delivered. Across town. In Lafayette Louisiana.
And this is cutting expenses HOW?!? ;P
Yeah they closed one out here too, but I don't think it caused our mail to get the runaround, as far as I know.
I don't really get that much mail anyway. Just usually my check statement from work every 2 weeks and the occasional complaint from the loan company wanting more money =)
...now where am I? Wait, this isn't the palace!
Can't those morons get even one Teleportation spell done right?!
They asked me for directions...

So I accidentally petrified and shattered a small village's god figure.
Oops.
Are you a medusa? Because I couldn't imagine anything else capable of accidentally petrifying someone.
My magic does strange things sometimes. I've stopped questioning it.
It's beautiful chaos!

Was it named Jayne by any chance?
*watches FHDM tick*
To better explain, Elegy here is a spellscar oracle, and our group uses critical hit/fumble decks. And since we're flavoring the nature of her powers as being feytouched, the absolutely insane results of a crit are perfectly in character.
So, you're one of those "blessed" ones then?
And no, I'm not going to envy your weird powers.
My magic is far superior to yours, that I can assure you.
I'm sorry, my character's a just a bit arrogant, especially when it comes to casters. XD
Oh, I doubt it not. You chose yours, after all. I happened to be chosen, so perhaps that speaks more to my capability than yours.
S'ok, so's mine.

Aaaand with that, I have to go try not to blow up a science classroom. Especially since I had this teacher way back a few years ago.

So you admit there's no technique to your second-rate antics, just pure "talent", as you'd say?
I believe you've proven my point with that one. I just wonder how long it'll take you to accidentally blow yourself up.
I believe that's enough fighting for today, you two...
My mind is being overwhelmed with RP posts right now.

I'm a wizard, not a court jester. Find someone else to pull off such asinine antics.
Tell that to the entire tribe she terrified into surrender by turning their "god" into stone =D
God I love the crit decks, but the insanity is really unpredictable.

Not too much of a problem if you have a decent salary, which I do not. ;P
