Wet and cold. Well it would not be so cold if it weren't wet... Humidity saps heat from everything turning decent 10 degree Celsius into cold nightmare.
The other two are replaced with books and... damn I don't know any appropriate words for gaming that start with B.
But....but....but....BOOBIES!!!! They're awesome! And fun! And at the right size they can smother you!!
And beer!!! How can you not care about beer?!? Do you have a condition? I've got a co-worker who can't drink beer because of medication he takes. You poor soul!!

I am truly impressed. Maybe I should hang start to hang around here now.

So long as you read the whole thread, to show your dedication.

I still haven't thought of anything good starting with B that fits gaming into that list.
Say hi for me! And be sure to apologize for letting the light in. A nice word goes a long way, and dead people are still people. It doesn't hurt to be polite.
'Ello all,
Happy FaWtLty-after-Halloween-post-candy-induced-coma-day! :)
Yeah, it was weird here too. Almost NO trick or treaters on my block, and we had 4 houses in a row with our porch lights on and us sitting outside waiting to give treats. Although on the next two blocks, there were more 'decorated' houses, (And more participating overall) and the neighborhood kids seemed to gather on those streets and had a grand time.
I, myself, baked a homemade Chicken pot pie, and decorated the top crust as a pumpkin. I called it 'Pumpkin-pot-pie'. :)
Which of course, made me want pumpkin pie. So I made those as well.
:D
So, Weird, definitely less kids going round than 'normal', but my kids came back with full buckets, and we had a delicious 'Pie' meal! Not too shabby.
My candy was gone pretty quickly. I had to repeatedly remind the children to be a little sparing in their handfuls of candy grabbed. This year, once more, the candy corn was a favorite. I ran out a little early, but was happy to have no leftovers.
We weren't home for the trick-or-treating as Wednesday is church night; we stopped at Sonic on the way home for food and didn't get home until after 9 PM. Even if we were though we'd not likely see much traffic - the best we get is kids passing through our cul-de-sac to get to the housing district behind us, where the big Halloween walkabout is located.
So, a recent thing here at the old Navy base is Lunch Truck day. Every Thursday a bunch of lunch trucks pull up on the parade ground for a few hours. My wife has visited them before and today I made the mistake of covincing me to go.
For one, we got there a bit late and the lines were long. On top of that it's kind of chilly today, and I'm trying to recover from a cold.
We ordered from a hamburger place. When we got back, I took one look at mine and tossed it in the trash. It wasn't a burger. It was grease attempting to disguise itself as a burger. For someone who loves bacon as much as I do to say that, you know it's bad.
So I had junk food for lunch instead - some Doritos and leftover Halloween candy. I think that was actually much healthier.

The kids didn't think so. :) Same thing happened last year, so I'm going to make an effort to include some candy corn in my handed out candy every year. :)
As I figured, the firm that was really inflexible about scheduling an interview has called me back. If they were even in their office yesterday (plausible, given the area of Midtown where they are located), I'm sure many of the interviewees cancelled.
Now I just need the trains to be up and running by next Wednesday. No way am I driving into the city.
We'll see. I don't know much about this company. They kind of need to impress me. I have mixed feelings about missing work to go meet with them, given that I am not even sold on it being a good job.

BAB? Bull-rush? Barbarians? Basket-cases? Breakdowns (from the GM)?
Boris will always to me be a Dwarf Crusader who asks his opponents "What's your favorite kind of ale?" then calls it up in his magical mug and tries it before finishing them off.
