Agh I know the stress of job hunting - doing it myself. Tons of submissions, few calls back, minimal interviews, no offers. Hope you get it!

That's my gig. Consistent, but the pay sucks.

Well, this job has to impress me a bit for me to take it. It's in Manhattan, and I'm going to need at least another $400-$500 (net) per month to make it worth the commute. But maybe they will indeed pay that well.

It IS all about the raise. They obviously need to deliver the master stroke to secure your interest.

I was just reminiscing on the donut scene this weekend with a friend!

Coincidentally, I was reminiscing the Rule 34 version of this.

Doing his part to keep the dwindling porn magazine empire alive.

Hadn't used Vista so I won't comment on it nor compare to it.

Dark Archive

Drejk - you would of had fun in the dark heresy game I played in, a good melee Adept that was also a Malefic Scholar and that was the most normal one.

Scarab Sages

MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.........

Scarab Sages

I continue to be impressed with 666 Park Avenue. In my own not so humble opinion, it's one of the better new shows on TV.

Hello, hopefully today finds people better than yesterday.

Info:
I think the site might be down for maintenance later...

Oh no I forgot my sammich today; so no lunch....unless I go out.

If I can't get some order to my sleeping pattern soon, I'll need some vacation from my vacation before I turn into...

Mrrrrgh!

...I feel like I should maybe joke around a bit with Aeglo about tonight's game, but... just tell your guys to go easy on us, okay?

Scarab Sages

Let's face it, any show that has Terry O'Quinn as an evil Mr. Roarke who feeds people to his building when they cross him has got to be awesome.

Scarab Sages

Damnit! Now I'm hungry!

AZ what's this??? It sounds awesome! (although probably won't be over here for a while).

Scarab Sages

That's ok, I'll be at work soon. Plenty to eat at work.....

New show - 666 Park Avenue. Think of it as the bastard love child of Fantasy Island and The Shining.

Scarab Sages

Mmmmmm........

Scarab Sages

Almost time for coffee....

Ahhh... so a bit like "American Gothic" or "Urban Gothic"!

I think I might have heard of that show. That does sound worth a watch though.

Scarab Sages

Caught the original Friday the 13th on TV as well last night. I had forgotten how awesome that movie is!

Scarab Sages

MMmm...coffee.

Scarab Sages

Tonight, after NCIS, I will watch my DVR'd epsidoe of Revolution. The show has one last chance to impress me.

Scarab Sages

Need.

Scarab Sages

More.

Scarab Sages

Coffee.

And that has to be one of the weirdest sentences I've typed today.

Scarab Sages

So, the open period to apply for that promotion I qualify for closed yesterday. And, yes, I did indeed put in for it. I think that whether or not I get this promotion (and whether or not my wife gets one soon) may factor heavily in a decision to relocate at some point in the near future.

Scarab Sages

Bye for now.

Back from comic-con. Here is the main pic page.

Looks and sounds EXACTLY like Peter Griffin. You should have heard him go off on the chicken when someone asked him about it.

Yum-yum. Big, red, juicy, sweet apples... Dammit. Four to a kilogram :/

This gentleman not only went to high school with me and was there for the start of the high school anime club, he went to college with me and was there for the start of the college anime club. He recognized me, even with my clever disguise, right away. It was an emotional moment for me, although I think I hid it well.

Likewise, this young woman worked on the college newspaper with me. Recognized me right away. I didn't know I had such distinguishing features.

A friend of mine got this for me as a gag. The thing is that neither of us realized that her day old water bottle was underneath the book. So as I picked it up, it trickled a bit on to my hand. From my perspective, it looked like the book PEED ON MY HAND. My hatred for Whedon continues unabated.
