I UNDERSTAND. I'M NOT JUDGING YOUR INABILITY TO SHRUG OFF MISSILES AS IF THEY WERE FEATHERS.

MUCH.

Yo -- If you are still thinking of a killer date for that other man in your life -- consider taking them to see "The picture of Dorian Grey" at the Studio Theatre -- The company is Sonnet Reperatory Theater. Tickets are $20, which is a pretty cheap date... and If you like spooky stories, Oscar Wilde, or handsome actors you're bound to have a good time. Just sayin'.

I don't know what else you missed but there is some enormous reptile in the thread, and I got married in the North Fork of Long Island. Strange Days Indeed.

I wanted to do something mindless tonight, but watching highlander 2 might be taking things too far. Maybe I should play some Katamari Damacy instead...

There was one of those Highlander movies with this "epic sex scene" that was so lame it made me never want to do it again for 6 months.

Yes indeed, sir. One little ferry ride from Greenport. Beautiful.

hi everyone

Scarab Sages

Hello! And this is 37K. Now it's time to go feed Charlie some breakfast.

we visited some wedding locations today

our favorite is a old country steading two villages away, it was on of the farms of the ruling House of Isenburg in the past.
cool added bonus: my grandma worked there as a cook between the wars, when it was still a steading of Seine Hochfürstliche Durchlaucht (His serene highness)Wolfgang Fürst von Ysenburg und Büdingen

it is beautiful, we heard good things about the food and the prices are reasonable and they organize a lot for you, takes a bit of stress away

No City of Golden Death this weekend. One player is involved with Space City Con.

My, isn't that the time for a talk about zombie bees and zombie flowers and all that? Have you told him not to bite others indiscriminately to avoid unwanted zombie outbreaks, yet?

So I'm frying up some ground beef and sausage for a pasta bar for a party I"m hosting tonight, and I realize...I do have bacon in the freezer...and what wouldn't be better with bacon?

It smells so good, frying now.

Interestingly enough, I just had bacon with my breakfast.

I'm still unpacking and Indiana is...., wet.

Pro tip: When you come to my store and tell me you really like the last of a particular item, and I tell you we won't be getting any more in, and you opt to come back in a week or two for it... it might be gone when you return. And it's not my fault!

LOL. I get that all the time in the bakery biz.

Customer: "What do you mean you don't have any pies?"

Me: "we make those custom, and we need 24 hrs notice."

C: "But I need it NOW!"

M: "Poor planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part."

OR ...

C: "Do you carry cannolis?"

M: "No, sorry."

C: "Really? You don't carry cannolis?"

M: "Um, no, no we don't."

C: "But I really want a cannoli."

M: "Well, I can sell you a muffin, howzabout that?"

C: "It's not the same. Can you make me a cannoli?"

M: "Um, no. Even if I knew where to start it has a shell that probably takes several hours to set correctly."

C: *huff*

C: "fine."

That reminds me of the skill set I became aware of when I took my Mother shopping for a birthday present once.

After spending time admiring a matching top and bottom set at a store, she told me she wanted the top. I explained that I would happily get the bottom also but she declined, stating that with the matching top sold the bottom would be far less likely to sell and when she would come back in a week it would probably be at a reduced price. She stated that it would not always work (price reduction) and sometimes the piece might be sold but it worked often enough to make regular use of.

Of course, she wouldn't blame the shop workers if it weren't there.

That was probably about 18 years ago, so I am not sure inventory and pricing controls of the clothing industry will yield the same results now a days.

Yes indeed, sir. One little ferry ride from Greenport. Beautiful.

Shelter Island, then?

I haven't been there. I may have to one of these days.

Congratulations!

I live in Suffolk County, so that isn't that far from me. (Although far enough; Suffolk County is a big place.)

As for the play, good suggestion! I'll have to talk the new guy into going into the city again. Like many born-and-raised Long Islanders, the city is a distant, mysterious place to him. I don't get it. I go like once a week. But that's because I'm not from here...

yesterday our DM called in sick.
I had to improvise a dungeon crawl to not let the gaming be canceld

Zombie,
I stole a few ideas from you,

Spoiler:
I build a gnome tomb into the losg caverns of tsjocoth and used your mimic traps, worked perfectly and the players had fun

so thank you and sorry for not asking before using that

Yeah those

Spoiler:
mimic traps
were a lot of fun at PaizoCon.

Up sort of late on a Saturday morning.

Well..today's off to a great start. Just discovered that two of my three washing machines downstairs just turned off for no reason. So I had to put two loads of sopping wet laundry that's only semi clean into another machine while putting stuff to dry. All of this while avoiding idiots who were just hanging out in the laundry room talking about their grandkids...*Sigh*
