Also the pictures of the chick being attacked by venom in her bathroom were awesome. The way it flows on her left shoulder it is hard to tell the tattoo from venom stretching out to consume her.

Indeed.

I knew there was a fantasy series I needed to get. I never finished those novels.

Damn you CJ!!! I was hoping to torment them a bit longer with knowledge of the she-Venom pics.

Still, thanks for linking to the entire article.

They have very nice collected editions out for them now. I highly recommend them.

So CJ outdid AZ. Interesting.

Unfortunately not. There are some good ones, but there are also some really bad ones. Like the one where the kidlet wouldn't even eat his bacon because it was so gross. We were all so sick after that. For days. :/

I had a cinnamon roll at a Waffle House while visiting family in Alabama when I was a kid, and got violently sick. I haven't been to one since. :/

I love his first four series. :) Redemption of Althalus, while yet another rehash of the same old story, only condensed into one novel, is also fun. :)

I love their hash browns for the crispy top and buttery insides. But on the whole it's a bottom of the barrel establishment.

The website where I first became aware of she-Venom only had one of the photos. I like the progression of the series.

As long as Waffle House doesn't screw up bacon, then they're ok in my book.

I like the Elenium and Tamuli a bit more than the Belgariad and the Malloreon, myself.

And now I find out he died in 2009. Sad. :( David Feintuch died while writing his last novel in the Hope series, which is also sad. And Gordon R Dickson died just when I was really excited to see where the Dragon Knight series was going.

...

If Jim Butcher kicks it before the Dresden series plays out, I will be seriously pissed off!

Sovereign Court

At least he finished the Alera series, which is awesome.

Did I mention he is a gamer and does LARP in KS?

At least Katherine Kerr managed to only have to have heart surgery in the middle of her series.

I love it when he has Harry gaming, playing the barbarian, and stopping the game to rant about "how unrealistic the magic is" and fireball radii. XD

Harry Dresden doesn't want to pretend to be a wizard in a roleplaying game, he IS one! Much more satisfying to be AM BARBARIAN.

You and me both bruddah.

So guess who had the day off today. Too little work in the office so the bookkeeping and data entry departments got an early weekend.

'Course, spent the morning helping one of our church members pack up everything in her house to move to Ohio, so so much for an actual day off. At least there was free lunch out of it. =)

Even with the hide button, he amount of trollish douchery that is allowed to pollute the Off Topic Section has me contemplating closing up shop for awhile.

Nothing like an election year where both the frontrunning candidates are terrible options.

...So pretty much every election year, really.

Have fun. Uh, the updated version of Total Recall was surprisingly good. Too much testosterone in the women, but it was good.

That is truly shocking, more shocking than terrible politicians.
