Hmm, I need to pick up the pace.

Silver Crusade

I see 59,601 posts.

Well, this is a day of being useless.

I need more of those.

Liberty's Edge Contributor, RPG Superstar 2012

Um, that 5 looked like a 9.

Derp!

Liberty's Edge Contributor, RPG Superstar 2012

I blame the mild intestinal bug I'm fighting off.

At least it is one closer.

Wait...symphonic power metal AND Nazis? Take it away, Fred!

I've fallen way behind in the posting department.

My dearie sits ower late up
Betwixt the pint pot and the cup

Hey Johnny, come hame to your bairn

With a rye loaf under your airm

He addles three-ha'pence a week
That's nobbut a farthing a day
He sits with his pipe in his cheek
And fiddles his money away

My laddie is never the near
My hinny is never the near
And when I cry out, "Laddie, cum hame"
He calls oot again for mair beer

Thankfully, I don't know of any 'white power' bands that branch off into 'symphonic power metal'.

May they dissipate into the miasma.

Silver Crusade

F&**ing water main break.

Just subscribed to the comic line. My credit card hates me more.

Ouchies!
I was gonna gripe too, but honestly, the stuff I have going on just isn't in the same category. ;P

(Well, except my wife is still looking for work.) :(

Best wishes to all for a happy fall! ;)

I want to sub, but I want those kinks worked out first. Also, talk about your ninth hour... :-/

I hate shopping for a moving van. A $1000 to hall my own sh-t cross country. Sheeesh!

Never been a great fan of Superman really.
Scint: He's less fun than batman
Orthos: Just never interested. Never got into Lois and Clark or Smallville when my parents watched both.
Scint: >_>
never heard of lois and clark
Orthos: Superman as a soap opera, basically

Ok, superhero soap operas sound like a wonderland of untapped potential for hilarity
"What makes you so sure it's my kid?" "Well, for one thing, Admiral Airtime, HE CAN ******* FLY"

Let's see how much better/worse FAWTL can make this.

Even done poorly it has to be better than season 3-8 of Smallville and well all of Lois and Clark the new adventures of Superman.

The Exchange

OK I tried, I so tried to read all of the last 200 posts. I give up. My brain is too tired and my rear too sore. On the plus side I felt like a human for the most part today and worked a full shift.

Heresy. Losh 4 LIFE.

They're a private institution, so yes.

Scarab Sages

Good Morning FAWTLY Folk. Happy Thursday. I hope everyone has an awesome day.

Scarab Sages

Sorry to hear about the problems, Shiny. But look on the bright side....You've still got us!

Scarab Sages

Ok, so maybe that's actually a bit of the dark side. But what the hell - I hear the dark side has cookies.

Scarab Sages

Mmmm....cookies.

Scarab Sages

C is for Cookie. That's good enough for me.

Scarab Sages

I have no cookies this morning. But I do have animal crackers. Not sure why, but they've become my food of choice for breakfast here at work. Either that, or peanuts.

Scarab Sages

Pizza for lunch today. Almost the entire branch is going to Celebre's. We're welcoming a long time intern now new hire, and saying "goodbye for now" to our current intern.

Scarab Sages

Not to mention, we're taking advantage of one guy being in the office for the first time since April.

He travels a lot.

Scarab Sages

Had to get more coffee. Then got into a discussion on John Wayne. Good times.

Scarab Sages

The Searchers - AWESOME MOVIE!!

You touch that gun, I'll kill ya.

And don’t say it's a fine morning or I'll shoot ya!

Scarab Sages

I always like to start my work day by walking around and saying "good morning" to my co-workers. Most of the older ones appreciate it. Some of the younger ones appreciate it. And then there's the few douchebags.......

Scarab Sages

takes a moment to contemplate the secrets of the universe

Scarab Sages

Ok, now that I'm done with my contemplation, time to go do some engineering-type stuff.

Later folks.

And, remember: Let's be careful out there.

*yawn*

Time for phase II of sleep now that job is done. Good night FAWTL

Bluh

Liberty's Edge Contributor, RPG Superstar 2012

Bluh is just hulb spelled backwards.

I'd say it's the other way around, since bluh (alternate spellings blah, bleh, bleugh, etc.) is a pseudo-word actually used by people while hulb doesn't seem to mean anything (at least according to dictionary.com) ;)

Liberty's Edge Contributor, RPG Superstar 2012

Who believes anything they see (or don't see) on the Internet?

Everything? No one with any sense.

Anything? If verifiable, I'd trust it. Dictionary.com's pretty reliable.

Silver Crusade

You know what I say to that?

Hulb.

Silver Crusade

Morning, all. What did I miss?

Liberty's Edge Contributor, RPG Superstar 2012

What's shocking is that there is no definition for hulb in urbandictionary.

F@+&ing bastards. I'm sorry shiny, that's awful.

Legion of superheroes. Greatest eps of Smallville, and hardcore fans wanted to see it become a series of its own.

They're a private institution, so yes.

I can't think that matters. Corporations are private entities but they still have to follow contract law - if they don't complete the task for which they were paid, the payer has the ability to pursue them for a refund! Geez!

Do you have a copy of your housing contract?
