Sorry - I forgot my robe.

Silver Crusade

Thank you for the well-wishes, all.

Spoiler:
It's actually been a long, slow process that has been going on for some time now. Apparently it is one of those relationships that fades gradually rather than going out with a bang. I appreciate that, because I don't really need the drama or the emotional rollercoaster.

It's had its difficulties and there are sure to be more, but I see a better future for myself now than I could before.

Speaking of, I noticed that Sabine has a FB presence whereas it appears that you lack one? Are you one of those luddites on Team FHDM? ;-)

There is no stealthy way to update one's FB profile.

If you're talking about what I think you might be talking about ...

... there is. There's a couple things I was able to change w/o drawing any attention to it publicly and it never made the public feed. I'm still being asked about certain things.

Yes. It's nothing most FAWTLies aren't already aware of, but I kind of didn't want it to be a production. I scrubbed it pretty well, but it's that darn newsfeed in the corner that stubbornly keeps displaying it.

Why can't I update to "single" without an announcement?

*shakes fist at Zuckerburg again*

Sorry for my part in that... I was going to suggest doing what Uri did an just make it private :S

Silver Crusade

No worries, Solnes! That's actually when I realized my attempts to make it private didn't work. No big deal, though - there's nobody on FB I need to hide it from.

Spoiler:
I don't know what I need/want to say... but I have been feeling this kind of desperate..depressing kind of pressure lately. Like I am stuck and don't know how or even in what context.. but maybe just posting will help a lil.

Somehow, I feel like I know the feeling you are describing. I think it's important to talk to somebody you can be open with. These type of feelings usually stem from something, even if you don't immediately know what it is.

Thanks CH

Spoiler:
Its weird cause I usually don't feel like this. I'm all lalala not going to stress over things I can't change. So its new and hard to define. I guess I could call a friend up... see where the chat leads. Its just strange... its a physical feeling... I can feel it kind of pressing in.

Anyways... I made pancakes :)

Ugh. Why is it one friggIng week off from exercise and it feels like I haven't gone in months?

You, of all people, are missing out on all the excellent metal bands I keep finding on a semi-daily basis & share their sites on Facebook to check them out further. A lot of times, they even have FREE STUFF to download to listen on your MP3 / iPod player.

Positive waves to all who need them.

I myself am feeling blargh. Stayed home yesterday and today. Slept most of the day away yesterday. Went to the doctor a little while ago and got some stuff to take.

Hopefully, I'll be feeling better by tomorrow and can go back to work. Just in time for the weekend!

The Exchange

CH, good to hear that it's not as bad as it could be.

Spoiler:
Solnes/CH: You're not the only ones. I've got this pensive-type of thing going on, like I *know* something good is going to happen, but because it's not happening, I'm in a deep funk.

I just don't get the aversion to being able to connect with your friends on a daily basis :P

my level of disappointment when my mother and I opened my old toy chest to discover old carpets cannot be put into words.

I really need to start training again. Biking is great, but my upper body needs love. I miss having a greater sense of balance and catching women checking me out.

I'm sorry you are feeling a bit down. I hope pancakes do the trick for you. A couple of my darklight sisterhood players discovered an old hello kitty wafflemaker and gave it to me, and that certainly put a smile on my face. All I need now is the hello kitty rice cooker and sandwich press and I'm all set!

I have no problem with connecting with friends on a regular basis, I do it all the time here! But I do not care for Facebook's invasive omnipresence and interface. I would much rather text or call or email!

Lots of posts that I won't be able to catch up on...

I had a good time at PaizoCon. It was great to see Aberzombie, Patrick, Jess, Bitter Thorn, TOZ, aeglos (and his lovely fiancee, Sabine), Sebastian, and Tordek and family at the convention. It was also a lot of fun watching Gary get nervous for his Corgi presentation and talking with Sara Marie and meeting the Teter Tot.

The cat getup was totally my idea, and it helped that I was sleep-deprived when I decided to go through with it. I might have to do it again next year. :)

CH, I saw your new status on Facebook this morning. :(

I hope you are doing OK.

I didn't see you very much during the con, but I assumed you kept very busy. It appears you had a good time, and that's what matters most. Hopefully, we can catch up again at ConCarolinas and PaizoCon 2013.

Definitely! I know you were quite busy at PaizoCon (I hope your meetings with your Legendary Games compatriots were productive!), and it seemed like the larger venue made it easy to miss people.

I've got ConCarolinas and PaizoCon 2013 on my calendar. :)

Man, the blargs seem to be going around. Count me in as one of the victims.

Actually, I was going to post this before I saw the other blarg posts - I'm thinking my new job responsibilities are sucking the imagination out of me. Can't seem to have fun anymore, or the energy to seek fun out, but the stone wall of no imagination is a 1st for me.

Maybe it's just the blargs. We hatez them!

Yeah I got some blargity blarghs here too. Of course, throwing up all night and then working at 3 didn't help. =\

Or a T-Shirt that said "I survived Peragus station and all I got was this T-Shirt?".

I'm sorry to hear the blargs are going around. I'm a bit hyper because otakon is coming up myself, so maybe that's why I'm still chipper, if nervous.
