TN rainy days.

Pros: Awesome-looking sky. No sun. Tolerable temperatures. Generally breezy. Free car wash with little to no effort on my part, while I work.

Cons: Stupid drivers. Humidity will be hell when the sun comes out. And office becomes frigid enough to justify having the space heater on in June.

Wow maked posting in the ranch fields of Wyoming.

Try not to roll around in the grass and get that stuff all over you it can get ichy.

That would be counterproductive ... if you want to eat someone's brainssssssss ...
AED certainly would get you started in the morning or skip the CPR and go straight to the shock will stop your heart then it can get started again with the CPR. It will be memorable at least.

Someone should be sent down to Miami for a convention / sales pitch ...

Miami huh.

I am not that huge a fan of the Heat. I will be in Tampa Bay in Dec more than likely and hopefully in August though it sucks in August.

Damn you Ashe! I love oatmeal raisin cookies!!! Gimme you raven hearted cookie eating bastich(just read some Lobo)!!!!!!!

I actually have an aversion to oatmeal raisin cookies. I think when I was a kid I must have eaten some one time when I was sick, because now the smell, taste, or even thought of them makes my stomach turn. It's not fair, because they should by all rights be delicious.

What does it mean if my mind immediately turns to Brokeback Mountain?

Yes, I am headed to Sarasota for the last week of July. I promised myself several years ago that I would never again go to Florida during the summer. I am sure I will regret breaking that promise...

Huzzah! Got my insurance paperwork today. Kicks in July 1st. Just in time for me to be done with my mandatory monthly School Loan Payments.

Well, we are headed back to Long Island today. Lots of driving ahead.

On a brighter note. Pizza! And tomorrow is National Day here in Sweden - which I will celebrate in typical Swedish fashion by not giving a damn about the festivities (pretty much only celebrated by the royal family and people who like to look at the royal family), but enjoy the free time.

Started reading random chapters of a textbook but found some stuff that related to the rest of the class.

I loaded the demo to Avadon - The Black Fortress onto my Kindle Fire. I will be checking it out and seeing if it will be worth spending the $10 to $15 for the full copy.

I still have Pizza left over from yesterday. Life is good.

I have homemade pizza leftover at home. Score!

True. (Which proves that even Swedes with no, or very few, Swedish genes fulfil the stereotype of us - well, the women at least - being attractive) ;)

Well to put my 2cp in for an already overwith conversation, I don't care for bald ladies. All I can say about bald men is that I look very poorly, worse than normal, with a bald head.

Went to a Whiskey Bar this afternoon as a friend was bartending and I managed to sample a good number of bourbons. Add to it, the chef made some excellent blackened cajun scallops and oysters. Expensive treat, but so worth it.

Oh you go to the good places when I am not around huh. ;)

What bourbons did you sample? Basil Hayden's?

If you ever have a chance to try any of the Pappy Van Winkle bourbons, jump at it! They range from 15 to 23 years aged, and they're all delicious, but the 15 year is my particular favorite.

Need serious input. OK, so boss is resigning at the end of the month. It looks like the bldg mgr and I are splitting up her responsibilities. Today I hear (via the IT mgr) that the CFO wants us to have smartphones (which I already do) so that we can check and respond to his emails at night and on the weekends. And likely when we're on vacations.

So, how much should a 7/24 type of job be worth? A 20% bump? Not that I have much of a choice, other than to start looking for a new job.

Looked at the schedule of events for PaizoCon - Is it sad that the only two lottery events I really think might be interesting are ones run by James Jacobs and Liz Courts on that first day?
