Apparently dragons don't like to be poked.

Preferably while still wearing armor! *quickly re-equips before Sharoth comes back*

That would be easier if you had pockets. Since you decided to do the job naked, good luck with that.

Well...he's got pocketish areas...

Shadow Lodge

I got my armor back on and all the pockets that come with it, I'm good.

That's what I want to know! Woke up sometime between 4:00 and 4:30. I even stayed up late last night because I figured I could sleep in. :-/

Coffee...

Indeed - one of the good things about working with numerous ex-sailors. There is always coffee!

I was stationed on Ike with a guy who's parents owned a restaurant. We had one of those humongous restaurant coffee pots in the #2 plant. Everyone else could make, "Meh, it's OK coffee" with it, but that man could brew some AMAZING java with that beast. :)

Yep. 2.5 hrs of OT per day for just being on call plus extra per callout.

Sadly, the new car is putting a strain on the budget and the extra money helps. Things should ease up next year when a few bills are paid off, but until then...

This is extra humerous if you read any of the Lonesome Dove westerns where 'poke' is a reference to a different type of activity (usually preceded by BttH).

And coupled with the term 'cowpoke'

ONE of my favorite songs. At least one friend had that for me on her phone as my ring tone.

Hello, Sir Freehold.

The absence is nothing personal. My life is kind of going to hell in a handbasket and I see no reason to inflict it upon everyone else.

sorry to hear that Treppa, positive waves.

Thanks for the good wishes. It's more a matter of needing to do than to talk - to reinvent rather than vent. So I've been busy. But I'm still keeping an eye on you guys. >.>

Whose eye it is, I shall not say.

I did upload new pics to photo bucket.

They are from our sunday trip to Steinau an der Straße, the childhood home of the Brothers Brimm (not their birthplace, they are, like myself, born in Hanau).
pics are from the Castle, the Town Square and of course the Grimm House

You have email? I thought you'd avoid it, since it was invented by Joss Whedon in collaboration with Alton Brown.

Fortunately this was disproven, despite Zuckerbergs involvement in f-mail. Which I just call fail.

Freehold, you must be in your glory right now. The Facebook IPO was a debacle, their latest figures show that their growth in North America has stagnated, and you have f-mail to rub in their face every time they get cocky. I guess sacrificing those chickens worked.
