Please don't shoot the duck, Bogie. He has work to do and is already behind schedule.

Silly Duck, work is for Monkey Kings.

Ducks can work too. At least, adequate ones can.

It must be tough for ducks to fly from pond to pond and swim all day.

It is if they have broken wings.

The question is: Who broke these wings?

The penguins did. They were jealous.

gran rey de los mono is banned for blaming the Penguin Mafia... oh, wrong thread. Nevermind.

Grabbing the win before heading off to work.

Seems you left the win at your workplace, unattended.

Home for lunch, grabs the win for desert!

Going, Going, Gone!

hazzah!!

Blargh.

Actual conversation I overheard about 15 minutes ago in the local mega-mart's parking lot:

Mom: You shouldn't make fun of him. He has a learning disability. Besides, you're being held back a year too.

Son: What?! No I'm not!

Mom: You are repeating 5th grade next year. We warned you this would happen if you didn't get your grades up.

Son: Yeah, repeating 5th grade. No one said anything about being held back!

Me (to myself): I understand why you are being held back.

I'm Back! Miss me?

Gran: Yup, to many clueless kids today.

Yes, Bogie, I have missed you. But don't worry. I'm working to improve my aim.

While you discuss the sad nature of todays youth I will win.

We were talking about you, Gru.

Gran: you must need more practice with your aim, don't I look like a bulls-eye target already?

While it is true that you resemble a target, the fact that I broke my glasses yesterday and am using an old pair until I can get some new ones means that you are all blurry.

Ah the Irony of it all!!! You have just told an Optometrist that you have broken glasses and blurred vision! Meet me at my office tomorrow at 9 am and I will get you fixed up.

Almost as funny as a patient today who told me that he had never been able to see well with the glasses he got last year. His wife told him to bring them back so I could fix them but instead he just didn't wear them. When I checked them I found that the prescriptions were correct, but that the lab had swapped the right & left lenses. The lenses were symmetrical, so it was a matter of 1 minute to swap them back and they were perfect. He should have listened to his wife a year ago!

My new glasses should be ready today or tomorrow, so maybe then I'll be able to see.

While you two discuss your vision problems, I will take the win and be on my way.

It seems you need to get your eyes checked as well since I have already won.

You would have won if you weren't wearing 2 pirate's patches.

Back to talking about eyes again? Ahh, of course, you can see but can't hear. You can only read lips. That is how I was able to sneak in and steal the win while you were watching someone else.

No insult intended to those who are hearing impaired.

Yeah, we just can't see our way past this topic.
