Question about my first character.

Pathfinder Society

I attended a convention over the weekend where I played my first two Pathfinder Society scenarios using a pregen character. I was given a number which I later used to create my first actual character online. I was told that the two chronicle sheets that I received for playing with the pregen could be applied to my first character online.

After plugging my number in and making my character, I see no place on the site that shows the two scenarios I participated in. Is that not how it works? Aren't I supposed to see a record of all the sanctioned events I participated in? Or are my chronicle sheets the only records of that, and I simply need to apply them to my character on an actual paper character sheet?

The paper chronicles are the offical record of you having played. The online site is used for tracking by Paizo of various things but if your games aren't there you can still play. It is possible that the event coordinator has not yet entered the Cons games.

Usually you can find your play record on your My Pathfinder Society page under the Sessions tab.

However, per the Guide to Pathfinder Society Organized Play, p36 "Physical records always count as the truest accounting of a character" this is regardless of what may or may not be reported online.

Conventions tend to have a lot more tables than a normal PFS game night so it may take days or even weeks for the coordinator to enter all of the information on the website. But as others have already stated, the physical chronicle sheets are your official records.
