Might I recommend the Monastery-Archives of Limbo? The locals are a bit more orderly than I normally associate with, yeeessssss, but they have maaaarvelous librams and eons of information stored away within the ever-twisting halls.

The Grand Immemorial Fortress-Libraries of the reclusive Illumians are nothing to be scoffed at either, nnnooooo. If you can manage to find their reclusive sanctuaries, of course.
