So who have we got lined up for this.
Any chance of some Ryan Dancey input. After all he was the man behind Rokugan.
As awesome as Ryan Dancey is... I'm not sure he's into writing adventures. I can't think of any adventures he's had published, in fact. You have to prove to me that you can write an adventure before I let you write an Adventure Path adventure... that doesn't matter if you're some random dude off the street or if you're the driving force behind the creation of the OGL. :-)
As for who's writing the Jade Regent adventure path... now is not quite the time to reveal the author list (I only just finalized that list early last week, in fact), but I can say this: we aren't trying out any new authors this time around—all of the Jade Regent authors have written at least one Adventure Path installment for me before.

Good decision. That hopefully will avoid author choice bloopers such as City of Seven Spears ;-)

Ya cut me real deep there. And to a fellow Faith Barger, no less. Then again, the Living God does expect--nay, demand--a certain level of backstabbing, so I shoulda seen it coming. :)

Sorry I should have been clearer in my OP
I wasnt suggesting that Ryan write adventures but as the driving force behind the best oriental RPG ever I thought he might be persuaded to do some fluff for Tian Xia.

Ryan Dancey was a Creative Consultant for the early L5R editions.
However, the point is somewhat moot - James Jacobs said that JR will be written entirely by authors who already wrote AP episodes.
Of course, Greg Vaughan was quick to chime in that he's writing one episode (as usual). ;)

Dm wellard was talking about support articles and corresponding campaign setting books, rather than actual adventures

I co-created Rokugan with John Zinser (CEO of AEG), co-developed the Imperial Edition with Dave Williams, John Wick, Matt Wilson, DJ Trindle, Matt Storscick, John Z and Dave Seay. I designed and co-developed the 2nd expansion Forbidden Knowledge.
But that was all more than a decade ago and I haven't had my head in Asian fantasy in a very very long time...
