Keep ti civil and stick to topic. I ask to no references of any kind to Wotc or 4E or rules bloat show up in thios thread.

With 2011 in full swing and 2012 approaching what would you like to see

Paizo stick with the four hardcover a yesr model. Their books re great and of excellant quality. i hope they can kee producing that amount per year.

More high level Aps. Or at the very least one that goes beyond level 20

A compilation of the older Aps in a softover or hardcover format. Think Shackled City. along with a PF update to SC

A "Ultimate" for Clerics Druids. Rangers and Rogues.

More Bestiaries along with a PF Savage sepcies book. Every edition with the exception of 1E allowed you to play them. wHy should PF be the exception.

A PF psionic book along with an Epic Level Book.

Epic levels handbook

Adventure paths that start at level 15-20

Adventure paths set in the outer planes

Detailed book on religions and deities (with stats for the deities, so they can fight the epic PC's)

Isn't that a fifth thread on this in the recent days?

I don't know, I haven't seen any other threads with this subject lately.

Pathfinder BASIC! for new players, though I'd need this before Christmas 2011.

Thread 1

Thread 2 (last active 2 weeks ago)

And there's the Class Bloat thread that covers the subject as well, but it got ugly.

Liberty's Edge

Apologizes for the duplicate thread. With the rules bloat one getting ugly I felt the need to have one more constructive. Still how many rpg forums have not one not teo but five threads on the subject. To me that is a good thing.

I don't mean for this to sound overcritical -- and I'm probably just not looking in all the right places for the information -- but one thing I'd like to see going forward is more information on what's already planned and scheduled. As of today the Product Schedule only goes to mid-March.

I get that release dates are subject to change, but I'd still like to know what Paizo's intentions are for scheduled release 6-8 months out, rather than 2 months out.

More on point: I want to see meaty regional sourcebooks (and map folios) for areas outside the Inner Sea region. Mapping all of Golarian for players, to anything like Inner Sea detail, is something that may take decades to complete, but I'd like to see a [gradual, well-planned] start on it soon.

I'd also like to see a psionics book, but that's a tough one. I've never been happy with psionics in any version of D&D, so for my money Paizo would need to reinvent it from the ground up, resulting in a system that is actually different from magic in some meaningful way, not just a bunch of spell-like abilities that effectively make a Psionic and a Sorcerer the same class with different terminology; but which also doesn't require 320 pages worth of new mechanics, new classes and and entire bestiary of new psi-specific monsters in order to integrate it into an existing Pathfinder game. Doing both those things is a tall order and I have no idea how it might be accomplished, but I hope Paizo waits until they can try a fresh look at psionics rather than recycling anything that's come before, and I hope they defer any close look at Vudra until PathfinderPsi has been worked out.

Someday I hope to see a rules update and repackaging of the first four adventure paths. I'd have to go back through several threads and sort out what material would and would not likely be reprinted if that happens. No plans to reprint the Bestiary sections of the modules for any creature that made it into Bestiary or Bestiary 2; should be no need to reprint the articles on gods.

Here on the product pages you have all of the releases through June plus a bit more.

Yeah, I figured I wasn't looking in the right places. I wonder why that information isn't incorporated into the Product Schedule page, though?

I think it is too avoid problems when there is a delay of a product. The product schedule tends to be more solid dates.

You're probably right.

So they add a caveat: "Dates below this line must be considered tentative." It would still be handy to have the projections all in one place, instead of having to pull up separate pages for 6 or 8 different product lines, then scrolling to the bottom of each page to see what's coming.

Liberty's Edge

Maybe it just me yet the location of the release schedule list is not that easy to find. Should be at the top of the page not buried toward the back like it is here.

- A book of alternate rules, like Unearthed Arcana
- A new campaign world
- Spell cards, feat cards, etc
- packs of miniatures for Adventure Paths
- solo adventures
- updated versions of older Adventure Paths collated into single hardcover tomes
- smaller, digest-sized versions of the PFRPG split into a players book and GM book

Well, I posted this in the other thread on this topic earlier this week, but this thread seems more lively, so...

repost

My group is really looking forward to two things in 2012: epic rules and psionics. We love high level game play and we love psionics. Also, as a GM, I love being able to stat up the uber high level NPCs.

However, one caveat: please, Please, PLEASE make sure that Hero Lab is able to release a data set for Pathfinder epic rules around the same time as the book. Just the thought of having software that can quickly stat up an epic NPC with all the epic feats, spells and gear makes me giddy :)

I suppose the same could be said for the psionic stuff. I'll even go out on a limb and say that I'm a fan on the 3.5 PSPs concept.

After these two items, we would love an AP that was a focused dungeon crawl. Think 'Rappan Athuk Reloaded' updated to PF and set in Golarion.

Good gaming to all,

DJF
