Can anyone recommend artists that take commissions? Pathfinder fan project related

That are relatively quick (at most a month or two per piece) and whose work is along the lines of the following examples?

Eric Belisle

Carolina Eade

Andrew Hou

Eva Wildermann

Unknown Artist

Florian Stitz

I actually would check out those artists(man, I'd love to), but I'm afraid they'd be out of my price range($100-150 max per piece for individual character art) and I'm kind of worried that there would be complications for them doing Pathfinder related art for use in a fan project. Shooting for four individual character pieces with no background and at most one full painting with multiple characters and background.

I would be prowling DeviantArt and ConceptArt constantly if I could, but time has been really cramped and I'm hoping to see if there are any recomendations that I would otherwise miss. HUGE thanks, ahead of time.

Hi, Mikaze. I'm not yet on the same level as those kind folks, but I am an illustrator willing to work for $100-150. Mostly I've done black and white, but I would be interested in doing color work and having a month or two per piece would work well for me. My current monthly project is the Slumbering Tsar series with Frog God Games if you're familiar with them. My website is James M Keegan.com- if you would like more up to date samples of my work, feel free to ask here or through my contact link on the site.

Best of luck with the project!

I would highly recommend this guy. His work is freaking awesome.

(And I am SERIOUSLY critical of fantasy art).

Edit: "this guy" being James K.

You might want to look at your link again, part of the command is in it so you need to adjust it a little to actually get to the page.

Otherwise - Pretty good pictures!

D'OH! Fixed, thanks for the catch. And here I was trying to look all professional.

Thanks for the compliments, gentlemen!

Whoa! I've actually seen your Slumbering Tsar work! And don't knock your work, it's solid stuff! :)

Thanks for the link, and the contact info! I'll definitely be getting in touch come daylight!

Not quite up to that level of stuff, no color for one and the art's a bit out of date, but see if this suits you.

Thanks! I'll check it out as soon as day breaks!

(no DA(or much of anything) at work, heh)

Hello Mikaze, IMHO you may get positive responses from some of those artists if they aren't busy, the price of illustrations seem to be very variable.

Otherwise, I'm below the level of those artists, but if it suits you I'm available:

Ike, your stuff is good, dude, don't sell yourself short. My only suggestion would be don't be afraid of the graphite on your pencil pieces. Making the shadows darker and layering will give them even more depth.

Thank you, you've got a good eye for art, that is one of the common suggestions or complaints I have received from all the teachers i have had.

James Keegan is on everyone's short list for "favorite posters on Paizo" and should certainly be on your short list.

But not until he changes back to his old Avatar.

I miss that ole country bumpkin!

But I'm a fancy gentleman now!

Well, it looks like folks are already convinced of James' brilliance, but I would be remiss to pass up a perfectly good chance to praise Mr. Keegan.

Spoiler:
James illustrated my second published piece and my first paid piece. :)

I was thoroughly convinced before. Now I'm just even more thoroughly convinceder. :)

And I know this girl as well as this girl have done commissions.

Thanks! I can't check the links at the moment, but I know that Adherer art. Funny, because the character in it is exactly the kind of theme I'm shooting for.

Thanks, big time, to all of you guys.

Just remembered my main worry about approaching artists that are doing work for Paizo:

Could commissioning them for work in a Golarion fan project that's going to be publicly available potentially cause problems for those artists and their working relationship with Paizo?

That would depend on their contracts -- if they have them -- with Paizo, so it's something you'd have to ask them directly.
