I know he's the one who killed Abdul and brought the Necronomicon to the White Council, don't know about them being related though.

Just adding that Jim Butcher is a hell of a nice guy too. Met him at a book signing of Ghost Story here in NYC. He was with cover artist Chris McGrath who also signed my copy. He gave my other half some tips about breaking into writing.

Yeah, but there are magics to change one's appearance. It's highly unlikely and it's just something I've seen tossed around. One of those far out theories. That there is some small evidence of but is very unlikely.

As for him being RELATED to Merlin. I don't know. But he can at least trace his magical teaching lineage to him.

And I'm not surprised the next book is going to be Denarians. Butcher tends to follow a pattern with his books and who is in them reoccuring characters wise. It's about time we got one. Also, my guess is Marcone is going to be involved some how. Since we haven't seen him since Changes. It's about time he does something again.
