Four siblings, children of a man who changed his last name to Starcruiser because he was a Sci-Fi nut. Mercury ran away from home and joined the navy. We read about this way back when in my Sci-Fi class.

*4 years later* my co-worker was talking about this guy he used to work with with a weird name. I decided to google the name and found this thread. He was in the navy and worked with Mercury.
