Has anyone really done this?
I searched this site and it seemed a few people tried but then the posts just end.....(not getting very far).
If you have I would like to see it, or see text files that you use...
Yes I know about RPGenius but those textblocks are far from complete of what you need to run through PBP....

That's pretty standard for play-by-post games. Shackled City also starts with a huge dungeon crawl, and I find big, non-linear maps sometimes cause PbP games to bog down.
I started GMing a heavily-rewritten Shackled City PbP (e.g. no dungeon crawls), but I ran out of steam after the first adventure. So I guess I'm part of the problem, not the solution. :-)

One thing I did was make the gear doors open without a key from the inside, and then make it where the PC's got to the elevator after 3-4 battles and 6-7 rooms.....and free Keygans Eidolon
Let them go on to the Malachite fortress,\
Figure after the orphans are rescued they can room-by-room clear Jzadirune (find keys and kill baddies) they will need the XP to go to chapter 2 anyway........
