Because a text is an unobtrusive method of communication. One sends a text, and continues with their day and receives a reply at the pace of the slowest user.
A phone call requires immediacy, while a text can be deliberated upon. That is why I text, and why my friends text too.

I like texting because it allows me to 'talk' to someone I really don't want to talk to.

Well, they were supposed to be eaten, so I suppose that's the safest way to transport them live...kind of like rubber bands on lobster claws, I guess?

Separase. This is sciency so it belongs here.

Since Wikipedia's summary is Complete Bull&%$#: When a cell is dividing: After the chromosomes are all doubled (into sets of genetically identical* sister chromatids that are still linked together by cohesins) and in the centre of the cell, separase splits them apart and they move to opposite sides of the cell.

I can't decide if this word is great or incredibly stupid.
